Then if that still doesn't work and you have a death wish - try a chiropractor

How long have I got left then Stive? 🙄

Yes I’m sure those countries are going to set up exclusive broadcasting deals to show games of Derby County because of James Collins and Nathaniel Medez Lang.
Like I said, elite players playing for big clubs gets wider recognition. Mexico had ESPN broadcasting deals to follow the likes Gimenez. These clubs grow their reputation by having star players of those nations playing for them. Man Utd signed players like Chicharito, Kagawa and J Sung Park largely because of the audience they bring.
Derby aren’t a big club outside of Derby.
You said we'd had no internationals and that's the quote I used and responded to. It's not my fault you don't know your arse from your elbow so don't take it out on me 😉

Off the top of my head over the last few years we’ve also had;
Jason Knight - Republic of Ireland
Richard Keogh - Republic of Ireland
Alex Pearce - Republic of Ireland
Kamil Jozwiak - Poland
Kristian Bielik - Poland
Tom Lawrence - Wales
Joe Ledley - Wales
Harry Wilson - Wales (when on loan)
Mason Mount - England (when on loan)
Conor Washington - Northern Ireland
but yeah….no international players since Stimac and Wanchope in the mid to late 90s 🙄
EDIT - just thought, Rasiak was a Poland international too wasn’t he?
Seth Johnson didn't leave until after Stimac and Wanchope too IIRC, but he probably doesn't count as an international as he only played for England 😂

Yeah, the noise seems to be in the kitchen floor but is very infrequent, so maybe it is a visitor ? I can't for the life of me work out how it gets from there to the garden and back though (or even if it is the same one). There is no obvious hole and the rat I saw was a big unit so it's not going to be a tiny crack. I can't see anything damaged in the kitchen cupboards and bins so it could be behind the board at the bottom of the kitchen units. I'll try and pull them out. It's so difficult to know what's going on 😡
Rats can get into pretty much anything. Our apartments have a communal refuse area with the huge industrial type bins and the feckers chewed their way through the corners of them. The hard plastic materials used are about a centimetre thick, but presented no problem at all as rats can chew their way through concrete after all. When they walled the area off, the buggers were literally scaling the trees nearby to get over the walls, just like a squirrel can. Felt sorry for them really, as ours were river rats and just trying to feed their own kind but the residents were so freaked out at the size of the feckers that they got pest control in and wiped them out completely.
My advice is simple; remove any reason for them to 'visit'. No food, no rats. Once they've found some other food source, you can go back to feeding the birds again.

Wayne Rooney England , I know whilst not playing for us but very high profile and world wide known
Of course, but he hasn't even used that qualification in the post I quoted, instead he's flat out stated no internationals since 1999, despite there having been literally dozens of them! Mind boggling.

Fornah - Sierra Leone
Hourihane - Rep. of Ireland
Elder - Australia
Forsyth - Scotland
Collins - Rep. of Ireland
Adams - Gambia
Mendez-Laing - Guatemala
Nyambe - NamibiaThere's probably more that I've missed, but how could a self-professed football expert not know that on occasions as recently as a few months back, more than half of our starting 11 were current, or ex-internationals?
I know Mexico has it's issues, but surely a 25 year internet outage isn't one of them!

Anybody have experience of using a chiropractor? My lower back and hip are pretty much always painful with times when it gets so bad it’s a struggle to move around , I’ve never been sure on the chiropractor thing with some saying they are fantastic but some saying no real benefit or actually made things worse , it’s quite expensive but I’m at the stage of giving it a go , anybody with any useful advice ?
Chiropractor to sort it (it's not that expensive mate!), then Pilates as a preventative measure once you're mended, though I'd be sure to get yourself checked over thoroughly BEFORE doing anything to make sure there's not an issue that might be exacerbated rather than fixed. The lower back stuff may simply be sciatic pain which is really easy to mitigate, but the hip issue could potentially be an arthritic condition.

I played padel with Ben Osborn last night and he assured me that he's desperate to play for Derby and can't wait to get himself 'in the building'.

Last season or the coming season? Next season they will finish top two and more than 90 points if they keep hold of 90% of their current side.
So they're not going to 'blow the league apart' then 🤣

Another utterly mundane 'race' at an arcane circuit that is not and never has been fit for purpose. Outside of quali, the racing offers nothing as a spectacle other than a glimpse into the lives of the uber-wealthy and yet every year the presenters gush over the 'romance and glamour' and historical significance of the occasion. TBH, I don't think I'll ever watch another race live from Monaco.

Yeah. Made a big impression with us lot! In all honesty, I think he was the main reason that so many on here were happy to see Oxford take the spoils.

Arum needs to stfu. The scores were definitely too heavy in Caterall's favour, but he won the fight clearly and old man Arum needs to reflect on some of the decisions suffered by foreign fighters in his homeland before he whines about his fighter losing tonight.

I played Catterall as soon as the re-match was priced up and I'll stick with that, though I do expect it to be closer this time around.

I thought Taylor edged the first
Nah, caan't have that I'm afraid.
I know we all have our own opinions, but Catterall landed more punches than Taylor in 11 out of 12 rounds, with 120 of 525 (23%) total punches finding their mark, with Taylor's number an extremely modest 73 of 306 (24%) overall.
Catterall also landed more power punches than Taylor in all bar 3 of the 12 rounds AND more than doubled Taylor's jab output.
I've literally no idea how anyone could watch that fight and score it a Taylor win.
Sorry, but IMO you're way off the mark in your assessment.

NML, CBT & Barks are not wing backs….. it completely negates their attacking attributes. Warne got the best from NML when he stopped playing him at wing back and gave him more attacking licence to play across the front line. They suit a 4-3-3 or 3-4-3. NML & Barks can play as the 2nd striker in a 3-5-2 or 4-4-2. If Murphy came he would be similar…….. but not a wing back IMHO.
Post is a bit muddled, but it does open with, 'not a comment on Murphy' which ought to have been the clue to my meaning.
Also, I'm not suggesting NML, Barks and CBT are wing backs, nor would I want them to be. To my eye at least, Wilson, Ward and Sibs are the only current genuine WB's (not sure about Elder yet, but I think he plooks more of an LB) and that's not enough.

But if Warne wants to play with wing backs why would we want another winger when we have NML, CBT and Barkhuizen?
Not a comment on Murphy, but if we're playing with WBs, we need at least 4 options. WB is by far the most most physically demanding position in modern football and expecting 3 players only to cover the two slots over a 50 game season is a recipe for disaster IMO.

Unless people just consider size of club is based on trophies won?
Derby’s 2 league titles and 1 FA Cup is better than West Ham’s 3 FA Cups.
But West Ham beat Derby in every other category, from stadium size, to famous players, to global support, to attractiveness for players, to finances, to global reputation.
There is a reason why players like Stimac and Wanchope left Derby for West Ham, especially the latter who had his whole career ahead of him. They moved up the ladder, not sideways or down.
And when West Ham got relegated, it was a massive deal as they were rightfully dubbed a huge club for the Championship. They bounced back right away, similar to Newcastle, because that’s what the big clubs do as they have larger resources and the name to attract better players.
Derby may have been a name back in the 70s. But that is 50 years ago now and over the past 40 years 80% of the time has been spent in the 2nd tier.
We are similar to West Brom, Coventry, Norwich, Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, Blackburn, Leicester, Forest, Sheff Wed, Brighton. Throw a blanket over all of us. A ceiling of midtable PL, with the only current difference down to a mixture of recruitment and luck.
West Ham have always been a step up on the ladder, likewise Everton, Villa and Newcastle. A long with the big six, they are the top 10.

Only just clocked that there actually is a player named Dupavillion (or nearly!) in the side. Assumed this was a gallows humour among you DCCC diehards, as in, 'so bad he belongs back in Dupavilion' 👽

Needs to prove his fitness after missing most of last season, before going out on loan in January.
Evans, Rooney, DRobinson and Weston should all be chasing loan moves this summer. Dependant on the U18s progress, Bartley and Bardell should be targetting loan moves in January too - Bardell needs to stay clear of injuries too.Assuming he is over his injury, I could see Rooney being retained off the back of a strong pre-season. I admit I may have my rose-tints on, but I'm convinced there's a proper footballer in there and if he can avoid injury, I can see him putting down a marker. That said, I absolutely agree that if any /all do fail to make next season's senior squad, then they really must be loaned out. A hunch more than anything, but I feel like one or two have already been treading water a little and need to be set a challenge to progress further, or not, as the case may be.
