Yes, completely agree. I'm not one for bashing the manager generally but I think it's becoming clear that PW has really only got lower league experience and success at that level by having the underdog mentality we are seeing now. We are not in control of games we are not retaining the ball as we should. Yes, we are second in the table in league 1 but my goodness, and here's the problem for me, our play is basically not very good and as a result not very enjoyable.

I haven’t enjoyed his football more than Rooney and roseniorball one bit!! 
I definitely haven’t enjoyed his interviews more either

Don't know why people are having a go at birdy, his style of play is the antithesis of Warne's. Whilst he's the manager at the club we are going to continue to see proper footballers leave and be replaced by cloggers.

I've argued that Warne is not the right man for us consistently for quite some time now, and in that time Ive tried to condense my argument down in to something as concise as possible in an effort to make it simple to understand.
I think it's as simple as this, do I enjoy watching Derby County play and do I feel like the personnel we have in place are suitable for the short, medium and long term ambitions of the club?
I currently do not enjoy watching Derby play. The performance levels are among the worst I've seen in my life outside of the 11 point season. In terms of our ambitions I will concede that in the short term Warne might get us promoted from L1, I believe that would be in spite of him not because of him. In the medium/long term I have absolutely no faith in his ability to take us beyond being a lower end, relegation threatened Championship team and we surely want more than that?

Bird, like Hourihane struggle to play in a Warne set up. They are both quite creative and technical, yet he asks them to get rid after 2 touches.
Also neither is defensively minded so there is always a gaping hole straight down the middle..which need a cdm player in the mould of a Bielik or Shinnie type!..
Either Warne goes, Bird & Hourihane go or Warne changes his style to fit our players!

Unfortunately occasionally playing badly would be acceptable. But it isn’t occasionally. Even on the “good run” we rarely played well, we just “got away with it”. 
 
The problem is with the way Warne wants us to play. Despite 3 transfer windows he still hasn’t got the players he wants, but insists on “straightjacketing” the team into his system but can’t explain (or maybe even see) why, with said straightjacket rammed onto the players why they can’t move freely. Most people can see that we need to take the straightjacket off. How about it, Paul?

Agree, but with Nyambe away, we only had 2 choices..( and we saw what happened when Ward played at right back - twice!!)

I see he came for a cross in tonights game for Aberdeen...and was beaten in the air by a much smaller player...now where have i seen that before🙈

Why is your brand of football so poor..and why can't you see we need a dcm as we are so open straight down the middle!??

He’s either gone in the summer if we don’t go up or gone by Christmas.  
To be honest, even if we managed to get promoted this season, I’d thank him and still move him aside. 
He really isn’t all that. I think Barker is probably the tactics guy and Warne is just a quirky mouthpiece.
Can’t imagine any of the senior players buying into PW at all.
