And the biggest was when he said ..Chris Martin wasn't his type of player...and yet a class player who can look after himself and score goals is exactly the type we need!

In my opinion, that only goes to show how low your expectations have dropped.
Tonight was all about head tennis. How far can we head the ball. Not a single player, bar Bird but even he was guilt a lot, tried to play any element of football. 
Not a single time in the many many times of head tennis, was Warne in his technical area telling them to get the ball down.
This pathetic brand of football, Lump it high, get a free kick anywhere put it in the mixer, etc is his comfort zone.
Good players have lost the ability to play because Warne doesn’t want them to. Now confidence to play football has gone.
Its depressing. I actually care very little now. Even if we go up, we will 100% be in a relegation battle.
We lost our manager who would have delivered us good football. Now we are left with diabolical football, poor off the field strategy and a 15% hike in ST prices.
If we don’t go up, watch 3000 drop off the gate easily.
Clowes won’t have the balls to get rid of him IMO. It’s actually very sad where we are.

While Warne is here, good technical footballers will be offsky..eg, Knight & Bird.
Hourihane has already said he is off, and i wouldn't be surprised if Sibley and Thompson don't leave too.
Warne likes speedsters, athletes & hard men...technical players just get by passed on the whole.
Shame, but this is why we play awful football and worry more about the opposition.
That said, if he gets us up, fair play, but i won't watch his style of football in the championship...because it won't work!

Yes, completely agree. I'm not one for bashing the manager generally but I think it's becoming clear that PW has really only got lower league experience and success at that level by having the underdog mentality we are seeing now. We are not in control of games we are not retaining the ball as we should. Yes, we are second in the table in league 1 but my goodness, and here's the problem for me, our play is basically not very good and as a result not very enjoyable.
