A foul outside the box continuing into the penalty area is a penalty.
Also, the ref guessing what had occurred would, but still getting it right would result in the suspension being upheld.
There are two possible reasons for the successful appeal:
    1. Forsyth covering. The Torquay attacker took a touch, and before he hit the floor, Forsyth was already there with the ball at his feet.
    2. The referee guessed and sent Cashin off for something other than a shirt pull. Given the ref's view, it was impossible for him to see the shirt pull. If he thought Cashin had tripped the attacker and this was put in the ref's report, I believe it could be appealed as there was clearly no trip.

Based on cycles of 20 years design/build followed by an approximate maximum of 30 years in service, we'll have nuclear subs until at least 2070.

It would mean clean air, less illness and death from respiratory and cardiac illness in the UK.  It would mean energy security for the UK, a domestic energy production industry and jobs, and not having to pay Russia, Iran and Saudi £billions for their fossil fuels.  It would mean the UK would be a world leader and an example to the rest of the world on how to make the transition to a green energy sector.
You are right about Net Zero in the UK alone having a negligible impact on global climate change but there are loads of good reasons for the UK to crack on with going green.

Well I’m pleased to see that my initial interpretation was correct! Should never have doubted myself (and believed those so-called ‘rules experts’ pfft).
In the proud traditions of the internet I shall never again listen to anybody else’s opinion other than mine own!!

The club had to submit an 'intent to claim' by today. Evidence then has to be submitted by Thursday. It is then reviewed by the FA's IRC (Independent Regulatory Commission).
The claim will almost certainly be that Forsyth was covering and that it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Good job it's the FA. As it isn't a frivolous appeal (ie. there is reasonable belief that Forsyth was covering and that it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity), then there won't be an extended ban.

Whilst that appeal is pending, he'll be able to play vs Liverpool. Arguably worth it, just to give him the experience of playing against a top side.
Worst case is he misses the Torquay replay.

One of a few of our players who were badly mismanaged at the time and destroyed their confidence. I'm glad he's proving himself to be an excellent player.

The claim being made was we went direct against Wycombe. Now you're saying 600 passes were between the keeper and defence... so not direct. Thanks for agreeing with me.
Now for the real facts. Hourihane had the 2nd most touches (99, 1 behind Chester), and McGoldrick had the 5th most with 71. Wildsmith had fewer touches than all other starters, and had fewer touches per minute than all of the subs too.

    Just to add to this:
    Charlton: 4 big chances missed.
Shrewsbury: 2 big chances missed. We looked poor as soon as we started going long in that game too.
    Fleetwood: 2 big chances missed.
Lincoln: A soft penalty and 2 dodgy offside goals given against us too, Collins was about a yard onside for his goal that didn't stand.
I don't get how people are entirely blaming Rosenior for us not scoring in a league away game but the same people are saying we can't blame Warne for a poor performance.

803 touches of the ball in that Wycombe game. I(n the game before, Lincoln City, we had 838. If we were more direct in the Wycombe game (I don't believe we were), the evidence suggests we still knew how to retain the ball. In the recent Bristol Rovers game, under Warne, we had 463. I'm willing to bet all games since Warne took charge are fairly similar.
We had 5 away games under Rosenior, winning 1 and drawing 2.
Charlton - We were all over them, Collins hit the post at 0-0, and got done on the counter.
Mansfield - We won (something we didn't do with Warne)
    Shrewsbury - One of those
Fleetwood - heroic defending, and a keeper who put in a performance of a lifetime stopped us from winning.
Lincoln - Another game where a keeper put in a performance of a lifetime. Sloppy penalty given away early on cost us, and was the reason for us conceding the second (chasing an equaliser)

Poor half from Cashin in all honesty. You could argue Forsyth was in a position to cover so it should only be a yellow.
