Tbh, I don't get ST holders moaning about the walk up price?
Working out percentages to ensure they've got value for money, and the appropriate discount, why?
I buy a ST to ensure I've got the same great seats every game regardless, anything else is a bonus in my eyes.
You can't spend other people's money, so as long as you're satisfied with the amount you're paying, why concern yourself with what others pay?

But I am aware certain posters aren't keen on shirts of that hue.  Not sure what their thoughts are on hosiery though, so didn't want to labour the point!  ?

A wee jaunt over to Ilson Friday morning, pick up 91 year old Father-in-Law... and his bloody mobility scooter... and off to bloody well Mable-sur-La-Thorpe for 3 nights in a bloody well static caravan on one of them there bloody well holiday parks!
Hey... I know... Sounds horrendous at first light yeah?
But the fact of the matter is the old man spent 90% of December-April in either hospital or care home.  We almost gave up on him surviving at one point, and he almost lost a big bag of marbles at another, but he got through it... not sure how... and he's been home since May, with a few little niggles, the odd fall, and a one off flat out refusal to accept the wonderful paramedics' invitation to take him back in to get him checked over yet again, despite his breathing being very iffy at the time!
We cancelled a similar jaunt in May as he simply wasn't up to it.
But the past 3 weeks or so have seen him as near to being "back to his normal self" as he's ever likely to get, so now is as good a time as any.  Hey, he'll never be the fit and sprightly 85 year old of days gone by, but he's certainly perkier than he has been since before Christmas, so why not make hay while the sun shines.  Grab the opportunity with both hands.  There's no time like the present.  etc, etc...
This may... or may not, I hasten to add... be his last chance to see the sea, and smell that wonderfu... well, you get the picture!
If that proves to be the case, then I for one will be proud to have played my part in it.  He's a good guy.  He deserves it.
So, wish us luck... I'm going in...

Secondly, I would hope our votes remain private & confidential, as I am reluctant to admit what I have voted for, in fear of jinxing the season, and we end up outside the top one!   ? ?

We spent to whole season being bullied (by EFL).
From September onwards, we were warded by... what at least appeared on the surface... buffoons.
We were permanently "Up against it", and whilst we all, to a man, woman and child, dared to dream, reality finally kicked each and every one of us viciously... if unsurprisingly... in the very pit of our stomachs.
Not a season I ever want to see again, let alone be a part of.
And yet... a season we should all be immensely proud of.  A season we should never forget, and never allow others to forget.  A season to pass on to future generations as the epitome of Derby County lore.
    "A great season"?
    DAMN RIGHT IT WAS!   ?

What a season, I cheerfully salute, smile and wipe away a tear when reading the other’s moving stories.

I have never seen the like, week after week, win or lose, every fan behind every Derby kick of the ball. Even when goals went against us the stadium rolled its sleeves up and roared again.

And the players ! So many young rams finding teeth, courage, grit and reserves they didn’t know they had. Senior players who just kept fighting and our 37 year old club captain who played every minute of every game. As a team, a brotherhood of men I don’t think I will see the like again and am proud to have been there to see them play and to see what it’s really like when everyone players and fans alike  are heaving on the same rope.

We knew it was a virtually impossible task that got harder as points from away games didn’t materialise yet they never gave up. Instead, latecomers to the team like Festy and Ebiowe, joined the fight with the same spirit and lifted our hearts, throwing the last pieces of kindling on the fire.

I am so thankful and happy that DC became our saviour. A classic local business man who already had his own seat in the ground, because like us he loves his club and the game. He stepped in perhaps as a reluctant hero yet he stood up and was counted in our darkest days. Yes because he could; but not because it was a gamble on the premier league or because it was a strategic business investment or he was working on behalf of a group of “investors from overseas” or some consortium or other in the “sport and entertainment industry”. He did it because he felt he had to -  “We Are Derby” …. And so is he.

Once the frost has cleared from the windows, people will look in when sat at the lights.  Glove wearers will get pointed at, and laughed at, whereas BMW drivers can make themselves look hard (being gloveless), and maintain both their tough exterior image and dignity throughout, thus avoiding said pointing and laughi... oh what the hell... who am I kidding!
