Apart from for the bean counters managing (or not in previous years) the finances, is there any point at all in announcing the attendance at all?
I understand your point but people are interested in how many actually attend the game. I’m sure, on several occasions during the Rush  years, the attendance has been announced and we’ve looked around and thought “no way are there that many here”.
So, I think announcing the physical attendance IS important simply because people are interested in knowing.

Now they've smashed that window I'm much more interested in what they have to say. 
In fact I refuse to listen to anybody who doesn't vandalise buildings and glue themselves to stuff. 
Like when the insulate Britain lot were holding up motorways I couldn't understand why people weren't getting out their cars and listening to these guys. 

Arsenal's games are recorded as virtual sell outs every week, but watching highlights on tv, there are loads of empty seats throughout the game, there must be 1,000s of no shows.

Back home. Flight cancelled. Alternative flight offered was on 24th! Was due back on 25th. 
 
The country is a shambles! Bit of heat and the tarmac came up!! 
 
Im gutted. 

Took my three year old daughter who sat on my knee in the North Stand, two weeks ago I "gave her away" in marriage....how time flys. Two happy days with my beautiful girl.

After much anguish I’ve decided not to renew my season ticket. Although my first game was nearly 70 years ago,  due to finances and distance I’ve only had a season ticket for 4 seasons. I’m so pleased I managed it for at least a short time.
My health now means I can’t manage the train to Derby from Bristol and back  in a day. When I do come to matches it’ll mean staying several days with my daughter and going to games with my son and granddaughters. I can’t always manage this and the expense of season ticket plus train fares is now too much for me.
However, I’ll be there v Oxford with my son and 3 of the kids - in spite of difficulty getting my son’s ticket as they said he was 122 years old so couldn’t purchase an adult ticket!
It’s been a rough old time for the club but I feel things are on the up and I’ll be at PP as often as I can.
