Re: Dobbin. People have to be realistic (I know - ridiculous). If he were some kind of superstar wonder kid and/or ‘the finished article’ he wouldn’t have been sent to League 1. What he lacks in finishing he more than makes up for in overall contribution. He’s doing well. He’s developing. Give the kid a break (I know, another ridiculous comment).

We’ve become masters at repelling oppo fans and wums from match day threads. Bolton was mostly about attendances and now it’s the price of energy and the structural condition of PP. There will be hundreds of PV fans asleep at their desks it’s like listening to local chat radio at 2.00 am.

I have to confess, I’ve watched Derby at Wembley 4 times…….. Anglo Italian Cup final (Cremonese?), Play offs versus Leicester, QPR and Villa - lost all 4.
The only games at Wembley I’ve missed….. FA Cup final v Charlton, Charity Shield v West Ham and Play Off v WBA……. Won them all.
Financial bribes not to go this year if we get there invited ?

Sure we want Curtis to stay on as long as he wants and then to stay on in a coaching capacity too (if he wants that)?. He’s a proper leader and - while the term ‘legend’ has become devalued through overuse - he has been a wonderful servant to the club and I think has great affinity with it. Obviously if he wants to go, then fair-dos, but I certainly hope - even with our financial constraints- we don’t show him the door.
