How can you criticise a manager when you create so many chances away?
Two clean sheets away.
LR can’t shoot for them.
Five different forwards. Same lack of killer instinct, allied with some robust defending from the home side.
Win at home, draw away and you won’t go far wrong.

I bet there will be a few wrist slashers out tonight. I’m not one of them - that was excellent stuff.
Created, attacking intent, decent opportunities created, decent openings, just not had that luck that we need to score.
I have no doubt it will come very soon.

Happy with the team, looks more positive and attacking. Just need to make sure the front four get the ball as quickly as possible. Pace was badly needed.

My Great Grandad Charles worked as a gardener on the Wychnor estate between Lichfield and Burton-on-Trent. My mum says that during the war and subsequent rationing afterwards the owners of the estate gave him plenty of pigeons and rabbits to take home to the family to supplement their rations. Great Grandad came home after a hard days work on the estate to tend his own garden and allotment to provide good food for the family. His skills were passed down through the family who were also skilled gardeners. Sadly, the skills seem to have stopped with me. I blame the hot weather and global warming. ?No matter how hard I try I cannot emulate the success of my ancestors!

Anag Ram reacted to Day in Now if Liz Truss did this, she'd get my vote
The sad thing about all this, well there are 2 things, one, the opposition are now demanding she takes a drug test.
Because drugs are the only way to have a good time now?
She's clearly a little tipsy and so what, are they not allowed a private life now.
Two, one of her close friends that was there decided to make this video public, for what reason?
No doubt made a few quid off it, but are you that desperate to use a friend for cash.
I would hate to be a celebrity in any form, not knowing who you can genuinely trust would keep me up all night.

We went to visit mother today at the nursing home. It's been hard watching her slowly fade away to dementia and today was particularly difficult for me. Her body is broken down, but she is a stubborn proud one and doesn't want anyone to help her get out of a chair, even if she can't, she will. My wife and i couldn't really talk to her, because she was rambling half sentences of what i don't know, but some parts were of her mother who she sees come to her regularly, she claimed she was waiting for her with dinner on the table at 8pm.
During the drive home we were talking about her and how her situation is unbearable for her and that maybe it was best that she not suffer for much longer and.. you know. i feel awful about feeling like that.
This evening i got a call from my sister telling me that mother had fallen while trying to stand up after dinner, around 8pm and that she had hurt herself so badly that an ambulance was called. My niece lives in the same town as the hospital they brought her to and she stood watch, while waiting to hear what xrays would show. Her leg is broken just below the hip ball and she will have to have an operation in a few days if they figure that she can take it and in the meantime morphine at regular intervals. What my niece then told me had my jaw drop to the floor, they would send mother back to the nursing home because there is no room in any hospital, even the hallways are taken. We are driving over there again tomorrow, i doubt she will recognize me, but i just want to hold her hand and be there.
Listen, i am just venting, i don't know where to do that except here.

Between 12 and 3.30, fast track was fine but in truth saved no more than 20 minutes. On grand scheme though, suppose an extra £5 gives full peace of mind.

We we’re there between 3.30 and 6.15am.
We did fast track too but in truth it all ran pretty smoothly.

I’ve been saying for about three years now that for some reason we have a club full of players who have no interest in scoring a goal on the football field.
Go from keeper to number eleven and tell me which of those players shows a burning desire to get in the box for crosses, who you would expect to win an attacking header and who has more than two shots in a game.
Then if you’ve named one, check out their recent goal scoring record.
There’s no ambition. Everyone leaves the responsibility to everyone else.
We play the ball around comfortably and that’s tribute to good coaching but we need extra sessions on smashing the ball in the net and perhaps a bigger goal bonus ?
The trouble is, when an opportunity presents itself the players hack at it because they aren’t confident in their ability to put the chance away. Sibley at least puts himself in the position to score but his record speaks for itself.
Collins was taking up some good positions in his first few games but last night was passively next to stronger defenders. He didn’t fashion himself a single chance.
Not whinging because we obviously have good players and I’m sure the coaching team is acutely aware of the scoring issue and will be trying to address it.
