That was just an example. I don't think you need some kind of master finisher at this level. Let's face it, we got Didzy's greatest ever season and he wasn't a striker known for scoring. What we definitely do need to do is buy more tickets to raffle. If we create more openings, then you can still score more goals despite being less clinical. We don't want to be in a position we we were in at times last season where it felt like every chance we got we really needed to take because they weren't common.

General consensus from Blackburn fans appears to be that he'd do well in League 1. Was a bit lightweight but has beefed up a bit in the last 12 months. Sounds like he could be a decent option to have.

The stats are deceptive.
Whilst our forwards may have ‘won’ their headers, where did the ball go and what advantage did we gain?
Our defenders are equally culpable. They head the ball forwards rather than to a teammate.
I think we need a strong player who can receive the ball to feet and lay it off to May or whoever. 
That player is likely to be a big striker who can then get in the box for headers.
An upgrade on Collins with Collins as sub.
 
 

Agree with everything you say but we need to find twenty goals more than we scored last season without someone who scored 22.
That’s the twitchy bit. We’re not going to turn the current squad into goalscorers so we need some serious business done.
I’d rather we did that carefully though and if four good players come in within the next three weeks I’ll be delighted

I understand all the negatives but I do like the fact that he scored against the top sides last year and also that his goals come in a variety of finishes.
I think he might get a similar number if we can buy the perfect foil.
The tough thing is that the ‘foil’ will also need to get a few as we will need to have plenty of scoring options.

Sibley struggles to keep the ball under pressure. He’s also not quick or good in the air.
He’s best when in possession with the field ahead of him to run into.
Moving him to FB actually helped because he rarely received the ball in a tight spot.
