England Ram got a reaction from jono in In and Out
So for my own mind (I get the minutes thing but want to see it from a game by game basis) and looking at what we are replacing -
The big 3 in terms of games we are needing to replace.
38 games for Knight - MD
35 games for McGoldrick - ST
28 games for Dobbin - MD

    Then the rest.
    15 1/2 games for Davies - DF
10 games for Stearman - DF
8 games for Osula - ST
    2 1/2 games for Springett - MD
1 game for Bart - ST
a run on for Aghatise. - MD

So, 4 first teamers, first 11 and bench players, who play most of the season covers all those 9 players.
44 games for a striker needed.
68 games for midfielders although Knight covered some of these at full back so can take some of these off mid and add them to defence.
    26 games for defenders.
From what we have signed so far I think we have covered all of that and more, except for the quality in striker role as we all keep saying.

England Ram reacted to JJH in Kane Wilson - Signed on a 2 year deal
Nigel Pearson said the injury he got he would have to manage for the rest of his career, so I imagine you’re just protecting yourselves for the worst case scenario.
Unusual but sensible, when you had Mel Morris you’d have probably given him a 5 year deal on £30k per week.

    Just seen you’ve signed him.
Genuinely wish the lad all the best, shame it didn’t work out for him here he’s been incredibly unfortunate with injuries and then a change of system which didn’t suit him.
Great club for him to join in L1 really and wouldn’t be surprised if we live to regret the decision, but best for all parties as of now.
Hope he does well for you.

They play Salford at the Pinatar Arena so I’m assuming it’s the complex near there.

Good reminder that Knight is also one of the highest earners. 2M with a sell on fee, Kane Wilson and a good chunk of wage made available with him and Bielik. We’ve had their pants down

    Recruitment shouldn’t be that hard.
You design your model and then only bring in players that compliment that system.
Our strategy was to buy every shiny object we saw for exorbitant prices.
They weren’t bad players, they were just not right for us.
Just like Stephen Hawking was a fantastic appointment for Cambridge University, but if Mel Morris was recruiting for Oxford’s boat race team, you could guarantee he’d be throwing money at him to bring him to Oxford.

Blame the manager, tactics, the lineup, referee, time wasting, atmosphere and no chips in the East Stand, when you have 28 shots and score just 1 goal, either you have not been good enough or the keeper has had a worldy of a game.
    The keeper didn't.
    2 points thrown away.

White didn’t ‘dangle’ his leg. He did the right thing, he plants it short and dives after he’s past it. And even on reply they don’t admit it!!

Roberts absent for the first but that second is infuriatingly cheating.

If you have problems peeing - get tested! Don't think your condition will just go away.
It's not always cancer, but you need to know early.
After getting a series of high PSA readings at the age of 60(ish), going through several digital exams (ooh, Matron!), too many blood tests to count, three biopsies, (not too bad actually), three or four camera exams (fascinating) and two MRI's,(boring and deafening) I'm lucky enough to only have benign prostate enlargement - but I know if it was cancer I will well cared for and usually you die with it, not from it.
I'm currently on Finasteride/Tamsulosin treatment and it's helping for now. I had an operation, (Rezum), a few years ago to help reduce the prostate but I'll probably need another, (HOLEP), in the future. I try to be an ambassador for my friends and colleagues who are worried/embarrassed about getting treatment as it can be a worrying process - so if anyone is worried I can honestly say, it's not a real problem getting tested and, if needed, treatment.
It's important to get looked at as, if the numbers are high, you will have options. Ignore your condition, and the options go away.
Believe me, the NHS has some pretty amazing and caring people ready to help you.

Last September I was playing football with my grandson, and hurt my knee. I didn’t bother the doctors because the knee gradually returned to near normal, but still quite painful at times. It was such a time I winced, and my wife “advised “ me to see the doctor, which I duly attended, knee examination, all OK, I asked for a PSA (having seen the information at Pride Park) check which he duly gave me the paperwork. The test came back 7.1, I’m over 70 so 6.5 is regarded as normal. I was dispatched to the Derby Royal, had the anal examination, ( for the first time) small lump found. In five weeks I’ve had a MRI scan,my prostrate biopsy done, and a QT scan, and I’m now on a hormone treatment plan. It appears they’ve caught the tumour early, and the prognosis is good, they say it will be eliminated. You do lose your dignity at times, but not going through that door and having the exam you could lose a lot more.
A shout out to the doctors and nurses at the Derby Royal, they have been absolutely terrific, informative, and very understanding, and caring.

One of the main factors in the next few weeks as we run out the season will be thinness and age of our depleted squad. Some play this down, but I feel it really will make its mark felt.
A lack of options for those out of form or for a change of pace within games can make all the difference. And some of our older players are looking like they are feeling the strain of a long season already.
Enjoy your time here, we really are a good bunch........mostly.
