The agonising thing is that the work is not over. We still have two big games and two big performances required. We might need four points.
We have to expect Peterborough will fight us all the way. But honestly I think that’s for the best - we want to be going into the play-offs in winning form, with momentum, and ready to dig deep.

They will claim a 3-3 aggregate over the two games.

A comfortable 1-0 if there ever has been such a thing. 
Roberts is our best player at the moment, churning out some consistent performances and doing all the basics which are lacking in other positions still. 
Whisper it quietly... 3 at the back is 5 unbeaten.
 

Does a penalty against little old Burton count, or is it officially a 0-0 draw?

Bolton, who we took 4 points off, or Barnsley who we have beaten 2/3 games (Inc the cup, 1 each in the league), or Wednesday who we have drawn with and are yet to play the replay with? Seems fairly well matched? 

Now I’m worried, I didn’t realise we would have to play top six sides in the playoffs.

Yeah but if it wasnt and you replaced them with subbuteo teams then it would be very worrying the position that we would find ourselves in because we have never beaten any subbuteo team and, having just looked on Wikipedia, Mcgoldrick has never scored against one either so that resets his goal count to zero.

Take away all of our losses and we are unbeaten this season,thats amazing considering the state we were in during the summer.

Take away the bottom four and we drop to 10th, midtable with a GD of 0.
That’s kind of worrying.

So we win more games against s*** teams than good ones...

 

I think we do try.
I think the difficulty at away games is that the demographic is so diverse and everyone wants a different match-going experience and to get behind the team in their own way.
Not everyone wants to sing songs about Collymore, Forest, the city of Nottingham or Mendez Laing’s private parts!
That said, people will come into their own. I fully expect my fiancée to be leading the McGoldrick chants at Wembley.

Three points are three points, no matter if you play a team in 3rd or 23rd.
I don’t see the point of this thread. Our record v teams outside the bottom four is reflective of where we are, a good top half team that can produce outstanding moments and has an outside chance of promotion.
Against the bottom four, surely you can say we’ve done a very professional job. These games are not always straightforward and present the kind of banana skin we have historically been vulnerable to.
Look at Cambridge and Forest Green beating Peterborough and Wednesday, for instance. 7 wins from 8 and just 1 goal conceded is not a given. We have earned it.
