Just watched the game on the Bolton EFL Lounge - they were camped in Shrewsbury’s half - had one cleared off the line and hit the post in the 94th minute - my ipad nearly went flying across the room!!!  Fair play to Shrewsbury - complete back to the walls display - and rode their luck - but have done us a massive favour!! 🐏 💪

God no. Get it over with ASAP. I really don't get this desire for a mad, stressful, day against Carlisle. Id rather be turning up knowing we're up and having a bloody lovely time of it.

Instead of belittling people who aren't fans of Warne or confident in him in the long term, why not try debating the points they make.

I’m sat in the west stand so it wasn’t aimed at me anyway 👀
Irrespective, scoring two goals against a very poor Leyton Orient side doesn’t make up for an error riddled season where he has cost us more points than he has won us. Perhaps the criticism from some quarters has gotten personal which is of course never acceptable, but that celebration is no way to react to your own fans, most of whom probably aren’t those involved.
It just goes to further reinforce my opinion that he’s a bit of a prize weapon, who clearly doesn’t accept that he’s performed poorly this season. As I recall, he attempted to plead his innocent to Warne after the Northampton game, rather than stand up and accept he’d let the team down - it’s clear Warne didn’t believe him, given we didn’t launch an appeal.

I don't think he's been slagged off that much but he's been a disappointment given he came from the Championship.   In a back 3 he'd be 5th choice if Fozzy and Nyambe were fit - even on Saturday he didn't look as assured as Nelson and Cashin but he scored two goals and if he did that every week he'd get a free pass for his defensive lapses.

My take is that the Warne future discussion remains premature. With all my heart I hope he succeeds and gets us over the line, fulfilling what in the summer were the minimum expectations of the majority of the forum (in the days when polls were allowed).
We know we are guaranteed a chance of automatic promotion going into the final game. Even with the possibility of being promoted before the final game. I say let's watch it play out and then discuss what happens next. By that point, @Davidmight even allow us to have a poll again?

I am 100% certain that had we not been in administration, had we not been being "run" by a group of men who knew nothing about actual football rules, had we not been threatened by a curly haired 🦨 and an 🚑🏃🏼‍♂️with claims for compensation that had no validity........, then we would have fought tooth and nail to be cleared of all points deductions and our good name restored.
Well , that last phrase is possibly stretching it a bit.

I think that it's safe to say that the EFL, Middlesbrough and Wycombe all took advantage of Derby's delicate position. If we'd had a strong owner in place, they would have all been sent packing.

Whilst I still don’t particularly like name calling our own players, I realise that I did overreact in my part in allowing this spat continue. As you say, we should have left it at agreeing to disagreeing. Having said that, you are still missing my point that, by and large his calamity days were early in his time at Derby and he doesn’t make significantly more mistakes than any other player any more. Therefore, the use of the name “calamity” should probably be dropped now. Also, as I have said before, the player ratings didn’t prove anything. In fact they simply supported the theory that, whilst certainly not as good as either Cashin or Nelson, he isn’t so far off to justify the level of criticism some level at him. If you’re going to quote these ratings to support your argument then I don’t know how you can fail to notice that his rating was only 0.4 lower than Nelson who we all rate highly.

Yes, I agree he was guilty of some crazy/poor back passes at the start of the season (I can’t say that I can recall any since hence why I’ve suggested we should move on from that label).

Regarding my definition of when the term can be used well, ideally never. As I say, I really don’t like name calling any of our current players. Why does anyone feel the need to?

As I think you’re probably saying, time to move on now and for us both to let it drop.

After all, unlike you, I have presented some kind of objective assessment in which the mistakes are included as a part in any case. You are welcome to present evidence for your opinion that Bradley would not be more likely to make mistakes. Besides that, the fact that he can't handle playing in a back four is another indication. He needs Cashin and Nelson on each side of him so they can carry him. I believe that Bradley has committed more gross mistakes than Cashin and Nelson this season, and after all, he has spent a significant amount of time on the bench from which he has not had the chance to make mistakes. When Bradley is put in a man-on-man situation with a striker or forced to do something more advanced with the ball than pass a few yards to Cashin, I feel like anything can happen. Similarly, when he stands and wrestles with someone or can't win a header because, according to the coach, he had a cold the week before.
And Northampton away was not that long ago either.
