Played crazy golf. The real thing is boring

It's one of those things you do when you're stating you're succesful. Golf, brunch, buying a rolex, driving a BMW

Nobody actually likes Golf. They just say they do for attention.

"oh Peter what's your handicap?"

Being a bell end. That's his handicap.

Says the man who buys £10 sheets of paper from Hobbycraft...

I play golf and can confirm I am not a success, wear a £50 watch and drive a £400 car.

And my handicap is 18, just in case you was wondering!

Alright G STAR, what you up to today?

I'm going to hit a ball with a stick and then go find it.

Ok, then what?

Do it again

Why?

Because it's not a game, it's a status on Facebook.

I tell you what it is, it's me walking my dog, throwing a stick and then fetching it myself.

As for hobbycraft... you know sometimes in life you need a thingy? Like a wotsit thing? Hobbycraft sell thingys. They sell that "like a thingy". Don't knock Hobbycraft. It's not just paper and card.

I think it was George Bernard Shaw who said it spoils a good walk.

My wife says its like fishing .. An excuse for men to by lots of interesting tools and weapons and then disappear for hours.

Too many weird pieces of knitwear for me

My dad used to fish. I don't think he actually liked fishing, I like he just liked being out of the house and sitting by the water doing absolutely **** all.

I love golf, always had since I was a lad. And thus far I am successful at pretty much nothing...

Are you allowed to drink alcohol whilst walking round Hobbycraft?

I win.

Can confirm that I play golf, despite being successful at absolutely nothing, including golf!

Are you mad ? I played football for years then got into golf at about 32 when it was clear most Sunday teams just wanted to break legs the get pissed afterwards ,,, far better game to play in than football ,,, only you hit the shots ,none of this hiding your own **** play behind teammates and blaming everybody else for not performing as an excuse for yourself ,,, do I drive a BMW ,,? Yes ( well not at the moment as stolen off the drive with a cloned key two weeks ago ) but I can assure you for years I turned up at a public course in a transit with ladders on top with the arse hanging out my trouser ,, I've been a member of a private club for years now and yes you get the right bell ends with the jumpers and all the gear ( usually **** handicaps) who are there cause they think it gives them some kudos but don't believe for one minute that all golfers conform to that stereotype , there's lots who play the sport properly and at a decent level and for the right reasons ,it is by far the toughest psychological sport out there

Look, I'm just dealing in facts here.

I'm kind of a big deal on the crazy golf scene so don't tell me the sport is hard when I'm used to having windmills to deal with.

No messing about with different clubs either. I use one club.

I think @G STAR RAM stole your BMW. Keep an eye on your rolex too. He's just trying to be important. Bless him

made me chuckle. I drive a BMW and now play golf, even had lessons this year, as went to Portugal with 15 lads in March.

I find it a good way of socialising. I am not a member of a course/club yet, but have considered it.

I stopped playing football regularly due to groin injuries, and there was a massive void for years.

Golf is an infuriating game, but can be enjoyable, it's certainly very challenging and requires concentration and a bit of mental strength to continually improve.

I recommend having a game.

I do relate to your comments though regarding some of the tools at the clubhouse.
