The Championship is a real Merry-Go-Round for managers . Schumacher had gained 4 wins this season but losing to “Lowly Oxford “ was just too much . Leeds manager is on thin ice also . Is it time for Clowes to get that new 4 year contract out of his draw for Paul Warne ? Or is it too early yet ?
Gabby'sThighs
Schumacher getting the sack after 5 games? What a load of cobblers. MaltRam, Mucker1884, LeedsCityRam and 1 other 3

On the face of it, it seems bonkers but they've very recently given Jon Walters keys to the Kingdom and I'd imagine it's very much him wanting his own man. He apparently was very much in charge of player recruitment by all accounts so makes sense. What doesn't, however, is the Coates family giving a man with very little experience in that field such unprecedented power considering the size of their investment at play. Stoke are very much a basket case and I suspect they will continue in that fashion, but money can cover for incompetence at this level. The amount they have to spend to retain their lower mid table position is crazy.
Gabby'sThighs
Jon Walters always came across as a sh*thouse to me. Stoke are probably my least favourite Championship club - horrible owners, angry fans, crap football, ugly place. jimtastic56

Let’s not get carried away with the decent start (at home) to life in the Championship. I reckon it’s very unlikely any Championship clubs are going to be sniffing around just yet. Their only other defeats being West Brom (1st) and Watford (5th). Only 3 points off top 6 too. jimtastic56

Someone said the other day their owners have put in £300 million to fund their 'ambitious plans'. If we struggle at Sheff Utd & Sunderland im not too concerned, we're still light years ahead of Stoke as far as working to a realistic plan. Eoghan1884 Posted Sunday at 12:50 Share Posted Sunday at 12:50 Cardiffs Bulut has finally got the Bulut. I still think we’re better than Portsmouth, Plymouth and Preston. Interested to see how Cardiff do now with a new manager. I still think Oxford will fall away a bit and not sure on stokes new manager as he’s never really managed before. tomsdubs
Some of the money these clubs have spent to be absolutely turd is insane, we're not doing bad for the little outlay we put in to fees. I think it shows the importance of good coaching and organisation. Premier ram and Crewton
