Even the penalty was dubious.

The player that cheated against us kicked the ball then literally jumped into the defender. There was no attempt from the defender to do anything. Obstruction maybe but never a penalty for me, it was completely played for.

Yeah I looked at that a couple of times. Looked like the defender was moving (not much mind) into the path of the attacker so the ref will say it’s the defender who has initiated the contact.

One of the most amazing comebacks in football!

It comes nowhere near our 5-3 win at Spurs in the FA Cup replay in 1973 when we were 3-1 down with nine minutes remaining.

It comes nowhere near our 3-3 draw at Pride Park against the Wendies in 2000 when, in their last season in the Premier League, we scored twice in injury time after half of our home crowd had left the ground at 3-1 down.

It comes nowhere near our 4-2 win at Elland Road in the Championship play-off semi-final when Leeds had won the first leg 1-0.

It was the Division One play-off FFS when they had 120 minutes plus penalties to pull back four goals at home. No big deal at all in terms of our history.

PS Walkleyowl visited us tonight but left without saying twit-a-woo!

In fairness, they had 90 (or 98?) minutes to pull back four goals.

ONE OF THE Most I said.

Remember:-

Liverpool  comeback vs Barcelona in May 2019.

Man U Win from  1-0 down in injury time in CL final to win the treble.

etc.

Yes people creaming themselves over this game, Peterboro were god damn awful for 90mins, They let the drawbridge down and invited Wednesday to "come on down", If the Romans were in the penalty box they could have picked up enough crosses to extend the Appian Way to crucify more of Spartacus rebellious rabble Happy Good Morning GIF by Curtains Cool

Peterborough’s tactics in the second half were diabolical and Ferguson completely misjudged his team and Wednesday’s abilities. Quite possibly the worst half of football played in the league all season by any team.

Unquestionably the greatest comeback. Look at the two starting XIs - player for player,  AC Milan had a team of world class individuals in every position, and Liverpool had two, maybe three, maximum. They had no right to do what they did in that second half.

The game that should never happen - Liverpool finished 4th and we’re allowed to enter the competition - Champions of nothing, yes I like entry just to the champions or call it what it is - Extra cash league for those not good enough to win the league.

You can only beat what is in front of you and they did. Still have a feeling that Barnsley will do them at Wembley.
