Some headaches for Warne incoming as the balance of the side looked great in that opening 20-30 without Collins and also without NML (one of our best players this season). Knight has to find a way into this side, some how, some way. Absolutely stupid by Osula and a shame as we could have still got 1-2 more at that point, shades of Collins getting sent off earlier in the season, brainless. Ref was beyond useless. Soft yellows which the game didn't warrant, 2 penalty kicks not given, one for them, one for us, and gave nothing for McG all game. Ramarena Posted January 2, 2023 Share Posted January 2, 2023 First 30 mins we absolutely blew them away with some great football. After that we eased off a bit but were in total control. Everyone hit 7 out of 10 minimum with Barks, Knight and McG the standouts. Knights inclusion and I'd say MoM performance in that advanced role worked really well, giving Bird and Hourihane space to operate and have a bigger influence (Hourihane had one his best games), it also gave McG a runner to find beyond him. We're now top four and need to keep the run going to close the gap on Ipswich and Sheff Wed's if we can. That aside we are performing above pre-season expectations, which is fantastic as we enter a transfer window where the manager can maybe bring in a couple of players to compliment what he's trying to do. Ref gave nothing walked away to talk to her on radio then he came back, called Will back and gave it. She was not tall so no idea how she saw anything from where she was stood through the five of them around Will on floor.
