Selling crown jewels to turn the squad of "ordinary" players to make those "ordinary" players turn into "above average" players, isn't exactly a bad idea, is it? Wot! We need money, Evans is a squad filler, if anything happened to Wisdom Evans wouldn't be good enough long term. So short term what does it matter if it's an U23 and we get some money? He covers 2 positions, 1 being CB, which we hardly have any players. Coincidently, CB is also a position we are weak in U23's, with our last 2 line-ups with the U23's, being Jinkinson and Soloman, who are both U18's. Sell now at a low price, yeah why not better than waiting for a player to achieve their a good value - so a couple of million for Sibley now as opposed to 'priceless' (Cocu) last season! If we sold Evans we would need to replace him with another player that can play CB We aren't going to be able to do that for £500k. I must've been dreaming when Evans played the last 2 games. ?♂️ And what happens if we get an injury to Clarke or Wisdom?
