In the current environment £500k is a good offer for a bit part player who’s never really staked down a first team place, we don’t really know what his best position is and is regularly injured. He's been alright last couple of games but so has Roos, doesn't mean they're good players. If selling Evans means we keep hold of Knight, Sibley etc. then I'm all for it. TomTom92 Posted January 26, 2021 Share Posted January 26, 2021 Evans is a weird one. Since he’s signed he’s hardly had a look in. Yet whenever he has been throw in I.e Bristol City or Bournemouth he’s always done a decent job. He then appears to get caught out after a few matches and goes back in to the darkness. I’d personally accept £500k but that would be under the assumption we can pick up a Nigel Clough diamond from the lower leagues/Scotland as a replacement. We could really do with making a signing/getting clarity on the financial situation because all we seem to be doing are letting players go/entertain rumours about our players.
