Marshall - 7 - hardly anything to do and what he did he did well

Byrne - 8 - Best game yet

Buchanan - 8 

Wisdom - 8

Clarke - 8

Knight - 8

Bielik - 10 -MOM - sheer class

Shinnie - 8 - can play in a midfield 3

Waghorn 8 - Best performance for a while from Waggy

CKR - 9 - Continues to impress. One of the bargains of the season in the championship

Jozwiak - 8 - Outstanding goal, excellent first half, could still protect the ball better at times and a few iffy moments second half when he nearly put the defence in trouble

 

 

Rooney - 9 - Tactically out thought Steve Cooper today and even changed the formation. Bold move and it paid off. Well done Wayne.

Marshall -7 A I’ve average display with the two punches and good use of the ball out from the back. 

Byrne - 8 Great defensively and worked really well with Waghorn down the wing and Bielik in the triangles. 

Buchanan - 8 Great defensively and worked well with Jozwiak down the wing and Knight & Shinnie in triangles. 

Wisdom - 8 Solid  

Clarke - 8 Back to his best. 

Knight - 8 Great engine and progressiveness. So unlucky with the post. 

Bielik - 10 His best game for Derby. At times class, absolute class. 

Shinnie - 9.  Best game for Derby. Does the gritty side of the game brilliantly. 

Waghorn - 8 Worked well Byrne and also with Colin. That partnership will cause many a defence problems. 

CKR - 9 Love this lad. Monster!! 

Jozwiak - 8 Great display in the first 45, average in the second but great work rate all round. Great buy.

Marshall 7 - forgot who was playing keeper for us until about an hour in, such was the total lack of threat from Swansea. Thereafter he commanded his area well with some punches/takes & couple of reasonably straightforward saves

Byrne 8 - best game for us. Loving the 'Byrne pirouette' which he used twice first half to elude their left side. His advanced position was key in enabling us to dominate central areas first half

Buchanan 7 - good display. Defensively sound especially in the air & linked up well with the midfield during our first half dominance

Wisdom 7 - really solid. Not massively tested for around an hour but secure for that last 30 mins, including easing Ayew out of a potentially dangerous break (which he had contributed to by ball watching). Good distribution

Clarke 8 - excellent again. Admittedly had little to do first half but always good on the ball. Second half he made sure Swansea didn't lay a glove on us with total dominance in the air, even when Ayew was trying to rough him up

Knight 8 - finally in his proper position, box to box in a 4-3-3 (although he advanced a little second half). Absolutely tireless display, linked up well with all front players, put the ball across for Waggy to set up second goal & so unlucky to hit the post first half

Bielik 9 MOM - absolute Rolls Royce of a player. No-one can surely think he's a CB after that display - power, poise, composure & control in the middle of the park against one of the best midfields in this division - fantastic

Shinnie 8 - absolute workaholic as usual but added bit of quality also from set pieces (including for first goal)

Waghorn 7 - great assist for Jozwiak's goal. Put in his usual great shift. Good to see him back in the team & looking a lot more upbeat than a few games ago

CKR 9 - superb display & on any other day would have been MOM. A goal, hit the woodwork, fantastic hold up play throughout, worked hard closing down defenders & chasing lost causes into the channels. A leader both in words & actions. 

Jozwiak 8 - after a frustrating start to his career here with nonsense disallowed goals & the team in disarray, the night he truly arrived. Superb second goal, worked so hard to support Buchanan defensively second half & played a key part in our first half dominance

Every outfield player produced an above average performance imo.

Marshall - 6 - nothing to do, 2 punches, 1 good and 1 bad.

Byrne - 8 - one of his better games for us, some marauding runs.

Buchanan - 7 - solid again, harsh to be robbed of an assist for the first.

Wisdom - 8 - good performance, some good stepping up out of defence. Lowe came off as he wasn't getting a sniff.

Clarke - 9 - unbelievable, again. Swansea fans said nobody's managed to frustrate Ayew as much as he has this season, not a sniff.

Knight - 8 - convinced this guy has 2 pairs of lungs or something, his energy is crazy. Unlucky not to get a goal.

Bielik - 10 - perfect performance. Summed up beautifully by the flick over their players head and a simple calm pass forward.

Shinnie - 8 - great performance and completes the midfield balance.

Waghorn - 7 - good assist, not massively involved though, couple of poor shots.

CKR - 9 - unreal, proved a lot of people wrong including myself.

Jozwiak - 9 - delighted for him, is becoming one of my favourites because of his performances and wholesomeness.
