Really positive performance, good intensity, a few wasted opportunities from the player we apparently can’t drop for contractual reasons and yet another individual mistake. This is typical Derby this season and no matter who is in charge you can’t fix any of the above issues.

So Cocu is unaccountable ?

Not sure if anything similar has been posted before as I lack the mental fortitude to wade through the entire thread (or  I’m just plain lazy) but if Cocu’s not been asked to stay away today he may have chosen to keep himself one step removed to attract slightly less blame from the new owners.

If the second of these fancies is true he must be carp at chess.

But it’s his style of football to pass around at the back ? The instructions come from him ?

Going back to the keeper under pressure is fairly normal football play, said keeper giving it to the opposition and letting them score is not ???

Might as well write the season off now then eh and tell the EFL we'll take relegation early.

Passing it around has its faults but that goals not relevant to them.
That goal is not the fault of "playing it out" style. There was no pressure on anyone. In a more common Championship system the goalkeeper would have passed it to a defender too because they were all in tons of space.

It wasn't the 'instructions' or 'the system'; it was just a howler, plain and simple.
