I really hope this isn't true. Rooney, like Lampard, isn't going to hang around if he does well. Cocu probably needs a director of football. It's an absurd rumour to make if it's not true for 1 and for 2 I think they have some inside info as they were the first to break the Rooney transfer. As far as I’m aware neither Mel nor Rooney have any links to Gregory. So where the hell did they come up name????? Last I heard Gregory was in India. I can’t see the connection which concerns me!
