Over 1000 allowed at Mickleover,  so surely they could have at least 6000 at PP.

They're actually allowed 600 and only get about 3-400 most games anyway. Does seem silly though that Derby couldn't have at least 10x that turn up at Pride Park.

The problem I see is managing the arrivals and concourses, not the seating arrangements.

Agreed but departures maybe more difficult given everyone will be impatient to leave.  You could stagger the arrivals But departures, anarchy

Need to introduce a system like on the plane.

Everyone has to stay seated until it is their row's turn to leave.

No unseemly gatherings in the aisle and a bit of a gap between sets of people entering the concourse.

Traffic should be less of a problem with restricted crowd size.

If you're time restricted, don't go!

Can you imagine people staying put particularly those that doubt the restrictions in the first place.  They will be crawling over seats to get to rows leaving earlier

Then they should be banned from attending again.

We can't demand change then not change ourselves.

Every other row, every other seat. I think as a primarily outdoor scenario with high ceiling concourse then something like 25% of nominal capacity would present a low enough risk for the benefits to be worthwhile. Everything in life is a risk. The key is to manage and reduce without being daft. You might sign a declaration saying you aren’t in a vulnerable group when you get your ticket. It’s doable with some thinking and common sense and would be a huge morale boost which in itself is a help to the nation.

Put some strict rules in place, and advise that anyone breaking them will be identified and suspended from attending any future games until such time as restrictions are lifted, and full capacity is once again allowed.

We have enough cameras around the stadium.  Even with face masks, we'll each be assigned a specific seat, so it shouldn't be too difficult to ID folk, particularly with such small numbers involved, and us all being spread out.

It would be staggered. A few go at half time 25% go before the final whistle the rest just take it steady.

Good luck with that. If pubs are closed again on Monday in certain areas as rumoured i doubt the government is going to reopen football stadiums.

You could let a few thousand people into grounds the size of ours and not have a problem if managed right, but Boris wont allow it.

Maybe if pubs are shut, people could go to games sober and it would be even safer!
