Animal is a Ram
Taking a risk with this 'link', I suspect... But, it makes sense. Craig Short has not long taken up a first team coaching role there.

DCFC1388
At 22 you would like to think he would be closer to the first team by now, I know he has made the bench once but given our lack of attacking players we are starting younger players out of position over him. Send him on a season loan, hope that he either impresses enough to be in our first team thoughts or enough they want to make it permanent.
SouthernRam
Sounds like a loan deal - Go Ahead Eagles and Roda JC both interested also. Good experience for the lad so long as we can get Ibe in.
Taribo
I don’t claim to know a huge amount about the guy but at 22 and already behind Sibley & Knight (& at a stretch Bird although slightly different position) I’d think we can let this guy go
Millenniumram
Probably a make or break loan for him, given he’s already 22. With Holmes, Whittaker and hopefully Ibe as options on RW, he’s not going to get any game time here. Best option is a season long loan so he can finally test himself at first team level, and we can see where he’s at in his progression. If he does really well at league one level, then we may bring him into the fold next season. Otherwise he might at least impress enough to get a permanent move. Would be interesting if he went out to one of the Dutch clubs instead, could give him a very different experience which might benefit him more. Inverurie Ram
He's too cool for Oxford. He's got a real cool name. We want him to stay, he's one of our boys, that's going to make the big time. Plus we want to sing along to TPSB - Go West. "Derby's Josh......Josh Shonibare..........Derby's Josh........Josh Shonibare"...............sing up!

I say invest in our boys. Season loan and bring him home to kick on.
LeedsCityRam
Didnt realise he only joined us 2 years ago from non-league. Clearly they've seen something in him to buy him at 20, with no previous league experience so wouldnt automatically assume he isnt going to make the grade. Oxford would be fine but a loan to top level Dutch football would be much more beneficial, if he has a long term future here.

Needs more than academy football or bench warming, either benefit us next year or help to move him and his career on. If he applies himself, it should benefit both club and player. RamLad1884
Curious where 'Football Insider' is getting information from? Not doubting them but they seem to have found a source recently. Unless the club are choosing to 'leak' stories to them.

He was a late starter but I was surprised that he wasn’t on the bench when we are short of attackers. that suggests he is expendable
California Ram.
Ideal for a loan - definitely one of the stars for u-23 but Ibrahim on bench ahead of him midweek.
Ghost of Clough
He’s improved a lot in the 2 years he’s been with us and a pre-season of training with the first team will have helped a lot too. He’s at the age where he needs first team games and that will almost certainly come from a lower league side. With us extending his contract earlier this year, I imagine this will be a loan, and his inclusion in the first team pre-season squad would have helped get his name out there to potential suitors. If I’m being honest I was expecting a League 2 club to give him a shot, so I’m very surprised to see a top L1 side come in instead.
Carl Sagan
Oxford play good possession football and we have the connection with Short moving there. It sounds a potentially productive loan. I'd have a recall clause for January, but let him go out and force his way into their first team.

Terry Hennessy
Yes, just watched the highlights of the U23's v Liverpoo from last nightl. 2 -1 to Derby. Rode our luck at times. Shonibar on target again after scoring against Man City last week....... looks a prospect to me. Strong, skilful and confident.....
