Matt Clarke up front

After seeing Matt Clarke on the ball in matches and the video of him in training it would be interesting to see him at CF in a match, he is very happy with the ball at his feet and a real presence in the air. When was the last time we had a tall CF?

He is very happy with the ball at his left foot. He has little pace and I’ve never seen him take a shot. He wins headers but can’t always direct them.

He won player of the year at centre half. Let’s leave him there.

You are right, of course, that we need someone up front who can win the ball in the air, but let’s go with a specialist striker.

I know we're desperate at the moment and i know we played Wisdom as a 10, but i'd rather we not have the entire team composed of defenders

Wisdom as the 10, Clarke as the 9. I love it. 3 at the back. Curtis in to play next to Bird in midfield. It’s the future ??

He’s definitely got the pace we’re lacking, personally I’d go Kelle Roos at number 9.

Great thread,brightened my day up.

Well, he’d never get done for hand ball in the area would he?

only jesting kelle.
