Just watched his interview and it was from before the Peterborough game.

Not sure why they took 2 days to announce it ?

Good interview saying there's a real optimism about the club.

I mean if we were getting a big points deduction the players wouldn't be optimistic would they?

Because I was right, as I always am.

They didn't feel like announcing it!

Or he's just toeing the line

Or B4 has convinced them that they can overcome a 12 points deduction and still get automatic promotion.

I am starting to believe it myself ?

Good deal all round. 2 years for a 35 year old, who hopefully will have enough in the tank to see us into the Europa League. Ravas can take over at that point as we go on to win the Champions League.

Happy days.

Europa League? Your lack of ambition disgust me.

Very good signing.

A clear upgrade on Roos and Hamer. I don’t think you can ask for much more in the circumstances.

Plus goalkeepers can still perform well into their late 30s.

I watched Casillas at Porto and he was immense even at 37.

Still need a winger, a striker, and a central midfielder and if we get that right, we can certainly feel more hopeful about our prospects.

If Leeds started last season with a 12 point deduction they'd have finished 3rd on goals scored.

You can still achieve plenty 12 points down. You just have to be good enough.

possible but if they started on -12 I believe the pressure would have been so great they would have finished mid table but who Knows

Depending on how much they are getting paid ???

Central midfielder? Do you not think we have enough of those ??

Without being a negative nelly though ... we’re no where near leeds, not even close

even with all the optimism in the world

Looks like Scot Carson’s Scottish cousin.

He’s actually 6 months older than Carson?

I must have seen him play quite a few times, but I can’t really remember him.

Bird and Sibley are key moving forward.

But I think it’s difficult to depend on Rooney, Holmes and Bielik.

Just my personal opinion that I’d like to see us add someone else too.

I'd say the second half of last season is reason enough to be 'somewhere near' optimistic.

With goalkeepers, that is usually a good thing. Unless they’ve played a blinder, or are one of the few superstars, goalies are usually remembered when they’ve made mistakes. We’ve played against him a few times and I too cannot remember a bad game. Steady, consistent, everything I want in a goalkeeper.

I agree certainly have us optimism Just until we played anyone In the top 6.

but I know what u mean, better keeper, a signing here or there and who knows I’d just much rather be competing without any deduction
