This was the achilles heel against Croatia in the WC. I always find it mad that I was steaming watching it and could still tell what was going wrong and how Croatia were going to score. Trippier to right-wing, Sterling to left-wing, Dier on for Lingard and you tell him to stick to Modric like a fly around poo. Rose on for Young if you don’t trust Young as a bonafide left-back. This was because the entire England team had stop playing and were happy with being 1-0 up and thinking the game was won.
