Every time Hamer decides to distribute quickly, in my memory at least, it turns out to be a great ball.
I suspect his time lingering on it is because he's genuinely not seeing an opportunity to get it forward without it likely coming straight back.

Put in more crosses in this 2nd half already than we did in the whole of the 1st and have looked much more likely to score. Imagine my shock ?

I did say that.

My point is that its unfortunate the mishit shot hit the bar. Not that he, the individual, is unlucky not to have scored from 8 yards out in tons of space.
