Imagine the pig’s ear she’d have made of this. Strong and stable.

Can just imagine her dancing up to the briefing podium like a robotic grandma.

Actually she's diabetic isn't she? She'd be holed up with Eddie for her own good and just send her minor minions out to face the public every day. Not like Boris...um

Thought we were not supposed to attack diabetic politicians?

Wasn't that what led to Dianne Abbot putting shoes on the wrong feet?

Thought you was a big advocate of 'attack the policy not the person'?

Tell Her there's no point to it...then you'll be fine.

On a serious note, you're right, if she is using one of her own knives. You couldn't sharpen a flipping pencil with the ones she uses in the kitchen. Mine, on the other hand - they work.

I did mention a few weeks ago that some good might come out of Boris copping a dose. At least the health professionals from overseas won't now have to pay the health immigration surcharge of £624 per annum for the right to save lives.

Except it's not for the right to save lives, it's to cover healthcare whilst they are in the country.

The change of heart mentioned ^^^ above is encouraging. It shows that we have a Government prepared to change course when a policy is clearly wrong, and an Opposition which through effective questioning and lobbying are doing the job expected of them.

Dont they pay national insurance and tax the same as UK citizens though? Seems very harsh to me, especially when there's a large hole in the healthcare jobs market.

Students? I would doubt it.

I just dont think someone should be exempted from, what is in effect a tax, just because of the profession they have chosen.

Anybody see the Farage video of the French navy escorting boats of illegal immigrants into British waters?

How can they justify that? They are actively aiding criminals.

I saw a video of various unidentifiable ships operating in an unidentifiable area of water, which may or may not be the line of British territorial waters between Britain and France.

Maybe we need to mark it somehow?

Show me how in any way that video shows what you claimed it did?

Any evidence whatsoever will do.

Got me on that one, dont have any evidence to be fair.

Can you show me any evidence that it didnt happen please?

Maybe them big naval looking boats were just some fishermen and the dinghys were helping them look for fish?

People working on the railway get (or used to get?) free tickets as part of their job. People working to save lives ought to get an employee discount of some sort, not be forced to pay extra.

How are they paying extra? If they are students then I would imagine they are paying nothing at all?

As an accountant should I be exempted from paying tax and national insurance as I help HMRC collect it?

Oh no, no, no. You made the accusation, you provide the evidence.
