(assuming Malone and Waghorn are injured) quite concerned now with the prospect of Cole at left back, he’s been far from convincing thus far. Wouldn’t be surprised if he starts Bennett or Nuge on the back of what happened at the weekend, even though I can’t work out why.

This is exactly the point. We don’t know what’s behind it. Suggested reasons could be bang on but could equally be wide of the mark.  We either trust FL to make the right call or we don’t.  I do. No point in debating all of the rumours.  We have enough fire power to secure our space in the Play Offs without him.
