Bizarre commentary over the VAR penalty check: "not enough in that". What does that mean? It wasn't close to being a foul. Unless Mount was fouled by the Saints player trying to get to the ball.

Anyway. Full marks to the lads. 2-2 after extra time. And knocked the Prime Minister off the telly!

Remember another penalty shootout at Southampton and Inigo Idiakez doing the Rams proud! ?

He’s come on and helped change the tempo so we started to control the game more. His passing has been woeful, but they are the ‘correct’ passes he’s making. I’d lambast him if he was making the wrong choices but he hasn’t. Yes, he’s lost the ball but his work rate and positioning has helped made a difference.  I’m not applauding him or anything, just like a lot of them he has played his part.

Id say exactly the same thing about Lawrence too.
