Is it just me, or does that video do him no favours at all? Most of the clips show him being dispossessed easily.

I'd expect more from an underneath forward who can play the wing spots.

Biggest worry got to be his injury record

Goods news is they loved him at Huddersfield so will be great amongst the squad

Most see him as a potential future England No.10 pinched this from the Huddersfield boards

From Wagners press conference...

"At the end I wasn't surprised that Chelsea called him back when he wasn't involved as much as we thought."

"Everybody knows I like him, he's a great guy and a great character. He helped us massively in the last season but in the last twelve months, he was available only for three months. I understand he needs a restart now where needs more playing time on the level that suits him. Unfortunately we weren't able to provide that.

"I do not only accept the decision made by Chelsea but understand why they did it. I wish Kasey from the bottom of my heart only the best for the rest of the season."

Huddersfield fans thoughts. The fitness issues (hamstrings..) are a concern but clearly a talent.

''The most naturally gifted player i've seen at Town'' speaks volumes. Very clearly a talented player. Both Percy and Nixon complimented the signing. Hopefully he can have as great an impact here, as he did there!

Please tell me I have this wrong... a player cannot play for 3 clubs in one season including reserves. Palmer made 5 appearances for Huddersfield in the PL but he's also made one appearance for the Chelsea U23s...

The worst thing is I believe a player can theoretically, be signed but still couldn't play. A similar thing happened with Ben Arfa a few years ago: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/14/hatem-ben-arfa-limbo-clearance-fifa-nice-newcastle

I think even now, he's still available for Chelsea's u23 squad. I know we've done it before where we've sent a player out on loan, but still played him in the occasional u23 match. But it doesn't count towards the 2 clubs per season rule as @CumbrianRam has hinted

From reading an the link it appears that the Ben Arfa ruling was by FIFA, presumably because he was moving internationally.

The article linked does mention that the English FA treat under 23 games differently (actually it said under 21 games but hopefully it's the same)

I'd be shocked if the club hasn't done appropriate due diligence on this.

You say that like it's a good thing.

Dawkins was a good technical player, this guy is much younger than dawkins was when he came here so has the capacity to kick on, which obviously dawkins failed to do.
