Top 20 players you have seen playing  - perhaps some people have only been watching for 15 years?

f***, you’re gonna have me really racking my brains now, not sure the 2 year old me was a particularly great judge of a player..

How exactly is anyone under a certain age meant to answer the question then?

Alright smart arses. I meant for people who can remember decent portions of history before 2002.

No player from the last 15 years should be anywhere near these lists.

I'd disagree.

For a start todays players are better athletes, and are often technically better than eras in the past. All you need to do is watch old highlight videos to proove that theory.

I think your basing your theory on players abilty and teams abilty relevent to the league we are in and the teams and players we come up against.

What a player, always remember them going crazy about him on MOTD after one excellent finish. Who knows what would have happened had he not been cursed with injuries whilst here.

Very good point but it’s just a bit of fun really is this.

Alan Biley and Dave Swindlehurst were a good striking partnership.

Just promotes memories really like thinking about say Peter Daniel and Jacob Laurson etc.

The late John Robson was a wonderful Right Back

I think he had a decent record before he came to derby for fitness and just ended up with loads of injuries with us.

He never looked like a footballer but he knew how to be in the right place at the right time, and his free kicks were sublime. Seem to recall a group of fans from his old club came over to see him a fair bit.
