Animal is a Ram
Quote Derby County can confirm that the club’s transfer of Maikel Kieftenbeld has not received ratification from the EFL and therefore the player has returned to Birmingham City. The club received a request from the EFL for clarification of the documentation regarding the transfer earlier this week. Following discussions between Derby and the EFL, the league on Tuesday refused to authorise the permanent registration of the player. https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2017/09/club-statement-maikel-kieftenbeld?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=SocialSignIn&utm_source=Twitter

jagerbob
This represents a major cockup, if Bryson only being allowed to leave on loan, to free up the money for this transfer. If he can sign a loan deal in time because there is not enough time for the permanent transfer, then Derby should have done something similar with BCFC over Kieftenbeld. Cam the Ram
So our central midfield options now consist of: Huddlestone - 30 years old but has regularly played full seasons without much issues, although if he's now needed for cup games + the 46 league games he'll probably find it tough. Thorne - Not played first team football in well over a year. Johnson - Loves a suspension. Hanson - Isn't good enough for this level. Guy - Has played a total of 11 senior league games for a team who were relegated from League 1. Good luck Gary.
Sexydadbod
Shambles of a club, if this was Forest everyone would be pissing themselves. We also got rid of 3 midfielders so essentially our only back up is Thorne? Thanks for the memories dcfc but Nottingham forest are the team for me. I've had enough. brady1993
What an absolute joke. Letting both Butterfield and Bryson (you can even through Elsnik into that mix) go was questionable anyway but without a signing nailed on its plain stupidity. Hope Thorne has fully recovered and either guy or Hanson can step up or we could be in serious trouble.
