Raminphilippines
Anyone that purchases their 2017/18 Season Ticket no later than Saturday 30th September 2017, and renews their Season Ticket during the first period of sale for 2018/19 in early 2018, will receive their money back should the Rams be promoted to the Premier League this season. https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2017/09/mel-morris-provides-season-ticket-holder-commitment Wonder if he feels his money is safe. Bald Eagle's Barmy Army
In today's crazy football world, season ticket sales are a very small contribution of what a top clubs turnover actually is. You wouldn't find many clubs do it, but there's not many chairman like Mel around.

RamLad1884
Win win for everyone really. If like me you have a season ticket anyway each year then you might as well take the offer. Club gets the extra income a little earlier also. Also being the cynic, is this possible to just push us over the ffp lines next year?
Ambitious
Can someone tell me if this is the rich person's version of 'if I get 10,000 RTs on this tweet, I'm going to get a tattoo of John Malkovich on my arse'
Millenniumram
Given our transfer business I think his money is safe as houses, nethertheless a great gesture by Mel!
Day
This thread has the potential to be an all time DCFC Fans classic, roll up, roll up, let's have your mid table at best, his money is safe posts.
McRainy
It would make more sense to get our money back if Derby fail to compete at the expected standard, or if Johnny Russell starts more than three games in a row.

Carl Sagan
It's a great offer from a very generous chairman who wants to give something back to the fans.

Inglorius
Yer I think Mel knows it's a racing certainty given our transfer dealings this summer that we won't get promoted so he thinks his money is safe .

Or the club has a FFP issue and is in need of income through the books this tax year.
Walkley Ram
Or maybe it's that getting into the premier league will be a massive windfall, with which Mel can reward the loyal fans. Any posters with the 'hur dur his money is safe' mentality want to band together and buy everyone on the forum a pint if we go up? Put your money where your mouth is. Mel has. G STAR RAM
Shows this clubs lack of ambition, only talking about getting to the Premier League. How about free travel to the away games if we get in the Champions League?
TroyDyer
Confident or aware than another poor campaign will see the ST numbers drop? Especially if the Wolves performance is a sign of things to come.
Ewe Ram
I've got news for some posters. Being cynical does not make you look like a better person, doesn't make you look clever and it makes you look like a sad act. Thanks Mel

There's a lot of chatter(probably nothing in it) that we are looking at Chinese investors. Won't look too good if season ticket sales go down.
