A bit of perspective, guys.

City were missing Otamendi, Ederson, and their most influential player, Sterling.

The squad is down to the bare bones. They could only manage to field over £400 million worth of talent and had to fill the bench with kids too young to remember Wigan’s FA Cup win in 2013.

Let’s be honest, you need a starting XI worth at least £500 million before you can even think about competing against clubs like Wigan.

A club with the luxury of fielding a full strength side as they are not competing on four fronts this season.

It was a mismatch from the start.

Delph sent off for winning the ball, incredible.

You can take the player out of Leeds but you can't take Leeds out of the player.

Pep also went for the Wigan manager at half time, the guy has no class.

Looked like most of it was someone else, couldnt work out if Pep was acting as peacemaker or not.

Red card all day long, seems a common misconception because you win the ball its clean, doesnt work like that, his stoods were up. Dangerous and a red.

given the polarisation of views on this it is a clear example of why VAR should only be used in a limited context where objective assessment is possible

There was a similar challenge in the under 23 game last night and the ref only gave a yellow. Also in a way,  it was also similar challenge to the one the Brentford player got sent off for against us.

Edit: thinking about it some more, Bateman jumped up straight away last night and didn't roll around on the floor for a while, so maybe that is a deciding factor for the referees?

I am quite sure this does have a factor yes.
