I'm guessing there would be other clubs interested at that money so perhaps Tom fancied coming home? Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to think as much. Looking forward to the watching his laser-guided passes (hopefully to a flyer or two on the wings - yes I'm being greedy!) and watching a few championship keepers picking Huddlestone rockets out the back of their nets. Don't get me wrong he's not a bad player to have at the club, but I think a few are getting carried away by the romance of it all, "Huddlestone coming home", when you look at his career he spent the least time at Derby and played the least games. The only concern is the average age of the squad is increasing and lack of resale value of our buys of Davies and Huddlestone. If they can somehow get us promotion then it is worth it.
