eddie
The season isn't over. We still need a few points to be safe.

See how they go, otherwise why bother having any youth set up and spending millions on the academy I'm all for giving youth a chance, but only if they are good enough, not just for the sake of it. Let's not forget players we've spent millions who aren't getting starts. If they are not in the managers plans we need to get them in the shop window somehow. Leeds bang out of form and lots of teams up the top playing each other over the coming weeks. Looks a tough ask but silly to be throwing the towel in yet. Based on recent performances it's beyond silly to expect a play off place.
Coneheadjohn
I'm all for giving the youngsters a chance,I just think we should play our strongest team every game and tinker as little as possible.

jagerbob
Norwich lost again, Wednesday just won 4th in a row. The top 6 is set in stone. A few weeks ago, this run of 3 home games against bottom half sides looked like a chance to cement our top 6 place. As is stands, if we had got 6 points the last 2 games, we would still be 5 adrift. So regardless of our recent form, blaiming Mac, or keogh or buterfield or anyone else for the good form of teams better than us is just plain stupid. For FOUR seasons now - since Clough - this OVERPAID squad of players have under-performed when it really mattered. Too many players living in the comfort zone and happy to ply their trade in the Championship rather than bust a gut to reach the Premier League. Too many players are not hungry enough and If they are as good as the fans think, why hasn't there been (Burnley excepted) much interest from the PL. Why isn't Ince, for example, playing in the Premier League? Jesus wept .. are you saying we didn't under-perform in Clough's last season? You have a very short memory ( or perhaps selective memory) if you can't remember how bad the football was then
unclej
To be fair, Clough did an excellent job of steadying the ship after Jewell. Unfortunately his idea of success was to finish one place better than the previous season. Great if you finish near the top, but we didn't. Rab a dab doo
Oh tragedy! We might as well give up now if we stop believing that the table as it is now is set in stone and that nothing can change we do can possibly change it. We should learn from previous seasons that there is always one team who come with a late run and sneak into one of the top six positions. Why not us ? Keep believing anything is possible yet. Papahet
Thought we've peaked too soon to go on a major run. January-May doesn't like us
Derby blood
Season never over n February , plenty of points to play for, and players still playing for the shirt next season, I will carrying on supporting and pushing the team on, antill the end of the season, who knows what will happen in this crazy division. Charlie G
I know some still have hope of a play off place but we have 15 games left and if we had title winning form which would be on average 2pts a game we would end on 77pts. That would mean both Leeds and sheff wed would need 19pts from there remaining games to finish above us. Leeds have 13 games to go and sheff wed 14 games to go. Can both win 6 and draw 1? I unfortunately think they can hence the play offs may be just a step to far. This is also counting on Fulham and Norwich deciding that they don't want to be involved. toddy
We really needed to beat Bristol and Cardiff to have any chance of catching the play off sides. We are where we are because we are a good championship side and nothing more.
Dimmu
Give the youth a chance talk is just nonsense. We have loaned out Hanson, Guy, Vernam and Rawson. It's up to them to make a step up and to be counted as a squad players for next season.
unclej
I've become extremely impressed by the standard of the football in the Championship this year. The top six are very strong.
IlsonDerby
We need something like an 8 game winning streak...or at least to finish the season unbeaten from now to even get close to the play offs. For me if we get to within 5/6 points with 10-11 games left then the chase is on, we might not get there but let's make it uncomfortable for those who do! Let's make them earn it. Let's make them get the highest amount of points needed for 6th place.
