Our central midfield might as well have been a brick wall considering how the ball was used. Shackell is the worst passer I've seen at Derby. He kills any momentum and might as well pass to them considering how he telegraphs everything. But it is just 1 game. 2 back to back defeats away at Norwich and Leeds hopefully sober a few people up who got carried away. Lots of work to do and a lot of money poorly spent since 2014. That was the case weeks ago. But we can still push at that top 6. it best it happens in jan where we can get players BUT we need to keep ourselves in it, a loss to reading , draw to ipswich and loss to newc could kill us
Sexydadbod
We have spent upwards of 50 million since 13/14, but have somehow managed to get a worse team. The Derby way

mwram1973
At the end of the day, they battered us yet only scored from a set piece. We were poor. Move on.
Gone
Outplayed from the 1st minute, full backs poor, forward 3 non existent, Bryson awful, center halfs confused. Not good enough tonight, a lot of work to do

That was a goal. And a bloody good goal too. His arms were there for balance while he rocketed the ball into the net with his majestic forehead. Made them look like absolute world beaters from start to finish, when they are in reality just another bog standard Championship side. Monk was prepared - his tactics would have destroyed any derby mcclaren side. You can't be that predictable. Are you serious? Our 2013/14 side was miles better than this Leeds side. Good players? Who? We were missing eight first-teamers! EIGHT. And even with those EIGHT first-team players, the best Derby XI nowadays is still miles off the 2013/14 side. Ramdale
Disgraceful performance. Full backs absolutely non-existent and biggest issue.. For those saying Baird desrves to keep his place, I hope you now see how much we need Christie. Not once did the Full Backs even look to be positive, which is key in a 4-3-3 formation. Our back 4 is so square at all times, whereas Christie gives us an outlet and allows Ince to roam making him harder to pick up. Hanson just not good enough as a Championship player, especially when asked to play out of position. Bryson is finished for a team looking to go where we are. Not the player he was. Johnson can break play up, but he just isnt good enough on the ball. Vydra im afraid needs to move on. I feel for him, but it is just not going to work for him at this club. He is a shadow of his former self and confidence is in pieces. That chance he had highlighted that. He has to shift it left and try and get a yard. Many asking to giove him a chance out wide, im sorry but that is enough. Simply doesnt have the qualities and movement of a wide player in a 4-3-3. Ince in the first half and Hughes for 15 minutes in the 2nd the only ones with any credit for me. We are miles away from where we need to be. The 13/14 team would beat us by 4. Desperately need Christie abck, plus a proper Left Back in until Lowe is back fit. Another midfield player who is a goal threat, plus a top quality wide player. Sako, Lansbury would be ideal. Seth's left foot
Not a time for wrist slashing but with some big games coming up there are players who are fighting for their future, as good as they were we rolled over. lets see how we play next week, that'll tell me a lot about this squad. Get the hair dryer Steve...

Sparkle
We were rubbish Leeds were sensible we lost correct result carson - did ok but looks unsure at crosses and passes defenders into trouble baird - he is a cover defender and does it well but little going forward we do miss Christie keagh - did ok but so many inside passes shackell- same as above hanson - not fair he should be remembered for playing left back he can't do it de sart - went missing and went off bryson - ran around but we didn't have the ball johnson - highlighted his ineffectiveness in central midfield again Ince - looked ok camara - left Hanson so exposed did little going bent - never saw the ball subs - Hughes - we looked better when he was on the pitch vydra - so disappointing his effort was non existent nugent - same as bent manager - should have been more sensible in team selection especially with the left back situation
