Last thing we needed was Palace changing manager and Sako coming on last night.

Maybe Allardyce might be thinking he has use for a big fecker like Sako

Anyway, if he doesn't come here then I hope Mali do well.

That's what It thought too. Allardyce surely can see that Sako is better than Townsend. Should actually know it already. Then again, he might have his own targets (Lampard? etc), so may have to generate some money and room.

Would be an immense statement of intent that we intend to make a significant drive towards promotion this season if we sign him or players of his ilk. It seems we are looking to strengthen all over the pitch. Seems like it will be an interesting and exciting transfer window with lots of ins and outs.

Sako backs out of Birmingham move

Bakary Sako has put his move to Birmingham on hold because he wants to fight for his Crystal Palace future.

The former Wolves winger looked to set to move to St Andrew’s after the Blues lodged a £4million bid for his services.

However, Sako played an hour in Palace’s midweek defeat to Swansea and wants to prove his worth to manager Sam Allardyce.

Derby also matched Birmingham’s offer.

A shame if true but not entirely surprising, if only pardew held on a little longer....

Oh well, hopefully we have other targets lined up.

Yeah if you believe the rumours - Scannell!!! If there's any truth in it (and I hope to God there isn't), couldn't you just cry.
