Middlesbrough v Derby County

watching on a feed - Granty kept us in it with a string of good saves. Warnock doing well in the face of Stuani and n'sui. Ince doing a big defensive shift and looks up for it. Despite a shocking miskick in front of goal Johnny Russell impressing going forward. Keogh's already had his moment and come through unscathed. Little seen of Martin apart from his WWE throw-down of Gibson for the early booking and his trade mark "knock down with tummy" that almost released Ince. Very good last 10 minutes after M'Boro had pressed for ages.

Didn't think Thorne looked that serious but he knew he was coming off straight away.

Not been able to watch, got a lot of work on.

How we paying? What was George Thorne's injury? Please don't tell me it was his knee...

Playing much better in the final 10 minutes. Boro look good as you would expect and Kike should have scored but other than that think we have done well.

Can't say with Thorne. Limped off but could just be a dead leg.

Oh bum we can't play these big games without getting injuries. So much for resting thorne on Tuesday. Still, it's level at the moment as is burnnley v Ipswich... Would be happy for both games to stay that way.

George just pulled up lame - difficult to say what the issue was. I would hazard thigh rather than knee but no clear clues.

We have been solid whilst they have played a very high tempo game; hence why we came a bit more into it in the last 10 mins.

Keogh has had a couple of lapses, but Shacks is always positioned well, and both Warnock and Christie have defended well. I have to say BJ looks off it again, but Hendrick and Butterfield have been neat and tidy. We do need to offer more up front. Martin got himself booked needlessly and Neither Russell or Ince are close enough to offer support.

Special mention for Grant - made a couple of good saves, particularly the one from Friend.

1 goal will win this for either side. I would accept a clean sheet for us now based on the first half, which Boro controlled mostly.

Crazy booking for Martin given by the lino. Hope it doesn't come back to haunt us. So far Grant has done well. Long may that last. Two good chances for Russell. Good dominant end to the half having hung in there early on when we were finding our feet. Shame about Thorne but Hendrick has given us some much-needed forward impetus.

Fair play to Boro, best team in the league.

Their record against Derby is what you'd expect from Barcelona against some minnows like Las Palmas.

We've now gone 31 consecutive games against them without keeping a clean sheet. Look up the definition of 'bogey team' in the dictionary and Boro vs Derby would be your answer.

Time to move on. Win the next two home games and hope to keep ahead of Hull. Boro are gone gone gone.
