I think that Keogh has played slightly better than Shackell overall so i"d go for Keogh. I can see the argument for Shackell though as his presence seems to have been the catalyst for Keogh's improvement.

Having said that, I think that Clement has also been instrumental in our defensive improvement. It is noticeable that players no longer chastise a teammate who has made an error. This breeds confidence, which was sadly missing at the end of last season.
