While all this is going on I would like to thank this site for being the best place to stay on top of all the happenings in this admin / EFL / claims case. Like most fans I have been searching online for the latest facts and over the last few days this site has become the most reliable. Fans have been providing links to any news regularly and I particularly like the pinned thread by @David giving the latest updates.
Well done everyone and thank you. In our time of stress, and at times panic, this site has been hugely valuable.

Middlesbrough spent more on both! Boro had 4th highest wage bill that season Derby 9th highest. If budget directly correlates to success (seems to be Boro’s argument), Derby overachieved and Boro underachieved.
    Makes their argument a nonsense.

Just posted this onto the EFL statement post. Maybe these things have zero impact but retweet, jump on or let the Bar stewards know that they wouldn’t pass there own fit & proper person test.

Can empathise mate. We’re all trying to remain positive, but apart from the Simon Jordan cryptic tweet today, which realistically can you believe it’s very difficult at the moment. It feels like you’ve got a close relative on life support and are hoping against hope they will pull through with the help of medical science.
Unfortunately the EFL are playing the Dr Shipman role, with Gibbo loading the syringe.

On the face of it, we're in pretty much the exact same position we were a week ago, or a month ago for that matter. Stalemate.
The only difference now is that there's 1000x more public scrutiny on this issue, with plenty of external people questioning the EFL and pushing for us to be saved. The way I see it, that makes the EFL more likely to accept that those two clubs aren't football creditors. It certainly doesn't make it less likely anyway.

Colin Murray has done us justice in the past few days. On Saturday , on Quest, and now on 5live.
He recognises the significance of our fate for the game. One did not have to agree with all the comments heard in the programme to be sure it will have served our cause well.
    Well worth a listen.

I will apologize if this point has all ready been posted or if I have the figures wrong.

I believe Boro are claiming 45 million because they had a 1 in 4 chance of winning 180 million the full amount, However they never had a 1 in 4 chance to 45 million they would have a 1 in 4 chance of winning 180 million
If there claim was for the full 180 million it would have held a lot more weight, by only claiming for 45 million makes no sense at all because they are admitting they wouldn't have got promoted as it never been the case were all 4 clubs agreed to an equal amount.
Which leaves them only able to claim for lost money from one home play off game and at a push a losing trip to Wembley and comes nowhere near 45 million. Admitting they would have failed in the play off's takes any loss of revenue down to at best 3-4 million.

With Wackum Wounderers don't all clubs sign up to a code of conduct each year to agree to the EFL rules, by making this claim aren't they disagreeing with the rules of EFL and ripping up there agreement to the EFL's code of conduct and effectively resigning from the league.

This whole situation is, if not wholly of the EFL's making, is certainly compounded by it to the point of it being inexorable.
They have stymied our trading with constant embargoes, throttled us financially by preventing benefit from the covid loan.
They have encouraged the parasites to save their own hides:
    don't sue us, sue them;
    dual fixture lists;
    leaks to the press.

Yet they have no vendetta against us, oh do cluck off EFL, you're fooling no one.

We’ve now heard from local MP’s in parliament, fans groups and ex players on social media, Boro and the EFL have released a statement and Wycombe have done an interview on Radio Derby.
The only people we haven’t heard from are the ones that matter the most in this, the Administrators. Their lack of comms from taking over is both unacceptable and incompetent, they have to be constantly poked and prodded to give us an update.
That is now Kirchner, the EFL, Boro and Wycombe all saying that the comms from the Administrators has been poor and resulted in delays and breakdowns in communications.
It’s great that we’re going after the EFL, Boro and Wycombe but we also need to hold the Admins accountable, i’m genuinely concerned about their competency to deal with the situation as much as I am angry with the EFL, Boro and Wycombe
let’s not forget they’re making millions out of this, they’re not here out of love and passion

Alongside a financial penalty of £100,000, the Club received a reprimand as to its future conduct and was ordered to submit revised and restated accounts for the years ended 30 June 2016, 30 June 2017, and 30 June 2018 to the EFL by Wednesday 18 August 2021.

The deadline wasn't until the 18th, by which point we would have played 3 games, before being extended to the 24th.
The 18th would have been too late to switch divisions regardless of what our accounts looked like.
Even if we had intentionally delayed handing over our accounts, the deadline allowed us to do so.
Now you could potentially then take this further back by saying Boro trying to get in on the claims also delayed proceedings, causing the knock on effect.
Either way, I honestly don't see how we can be at fault in this particular case with Wycombe.

How has football turned to this? Zero regard for the fans just a bunch of millionaires and billionaires trying to squeeze money out of anything they see as a means for more wealth.

Let’s say we did cheat, we’ve taken the points deduction, fine, it’s a fair cop. But we didn’t cheat in the season when they went down. Wycombe just wanted the points deduction to be in that season cos it would’ve sealed them. But really it should have been handed out the season before, if anything.
jesus, they already benefitted from Wednesday losing points, and they didn’t cheat last season either. If the only way they can stay up is through other teams loosing points (and the only way they can get up is by a dodgy ppg system) then they probably don’t belong in this league.
    absolutely beyond ridiculous claim.

Ramrob reacted to admira in Jamie Vincent RIP
Former Swindon Town defender Jamie Vincent has died aged 46, according to the League Two club.
The left-back had an 18-year career during which he played more than 500 games for AFC Bournemouth, Huddersfield Town, Portsmouth, Derby County, Millwall, Walsall and Aldershot Town.
He helped Swindon win promotion to League One in 2007.
"Our thoughts go out to all of Jamie's family and friends at this incredibly sad time," the Robins said.
Vincent began his career at Crystal Palace before moving to Bournemouth in 1996 where he played 133 times and was a team-mate of Newcastle manager Eddie Howe and his assistant Jason Tindall.
He was named in the PFA Division Two Team of the Season for 1998-99 as the Cherries finished outside of the play-off places on goal difference.
A £500,000 move to second-tier Huddersfield came in March 1999 before a reported £800,000 transfer to Portsmouth two years later.
Vincent played in all three tiers of the English Football League ending his professional career with Aldershot in 2011.
