I was wondering if anyone wanted to meet up before Bristol game as a forum to collectively raise a glass for B4?

RIP Daniel / B4 , was always a joy to have in this forum. We’ve lost one of our family but together as fans in his honour let’s stick together because he was glue of positivity that kept us together. Sadly  I wasn’t at the game yesterday but I’m sure he would have been filled with pride about his beloved rams. Never forgotten and rest easy. Once a ram always a 🐏

I have some very sad news this evening.  Daniel (B4) died earlier this week. He was just 38.
As you know, he has been battling numerous health conditions for a long time, but always remained cheerful  and was the most loyal supporter of his beloved Rams, home and away.
He was at the match at Crewe and gave his full support as always. 
Daniel leaves behind a grieving dad, mum and sister. Our thoughts go out to them and we only hope they get a little comfort from knowing how well loved Daniel is by all who know him. 
Here are a couple of photos that his dad agreed could be shared. I'm sure many of you have others, as Daniel loved a selfie at the game.
David is hoping to arrange a more fitting tribute in time, but for now please raise a glass in his memory and a good Derby win today. I am sure that's what Daniel would have been doing tonight.
 

I just can’t be assed to go anymore I’d choose a full day of private tuition then sat freezing in a piss wet through stand , to see drivel and spend 45 minutes trying to get out of Pride Park. 

I’d personally set the following target  In the next five games 7 points minimum anything less he’s gone 
 

The only criticism I have for DC is the 4 year deal that was utter madness! I’d have given him 2 years with an option of a third that would have kicked Warne up the ass to try and succeed.
 
Warne is quite happy to sit on those three extra years knowing if we sack him he is entitled to compensation for those years unless another team takes him on ( this is when the compensation reduces), from his recent record I can’t see many queuing up for his services.

To be honest, as a club as long as I’ve watched us we have had no plan B regardless of what  manager we have. It’s always the same. We do well and look competitive against teams that play nice football on the ground but as soon as we get a team with big players and route one we look like a team that’s never played together.

Go fund me page I think 🤔 couple hundred from Niall Horan, Graham Coxon and Robert Lindsey might start the process rolling!

It’s a shambles at the moment, I’ve stopped going as sadly lesson planning for my students is  a more enthusiastic task then entering pride park at the moment. we are a joke at the moment and I can’t see much exciting happening, the results are inconsistent, the atmosphere at pride park is dead and the relationship between the fans and the club is slowly cracking. At the end of the day he has a four year deal. If I was Clowes I’d really be considering his position because it’s not just a blasé decision of replace the manager , I can see the attendances dropping off especially now a lot of the rearranged fixtures are midweek. Personally I’d give him 10-15 games to sort it out if we are 10 points of the playoffs he’s gone 

Please get him gone he’s awful 

Personally I’d like us to be competitive I don’t assume we’ll storm the league but where we currently are heading into October is not good enough. I’ll reiterate my view is if by January we are not at least with a point or two of the play offs then he’ll have to go. I like Warne he talks well but I think personally his oratory skills vastly outweigh his tactically prowess. For me to change my mind he needs to understand the squad better , play players in their most productive positions (even if it means a deviation from his favoured 3-5-2), be competitive against the top teams and show confidence against the so called “weaker” teams.

Was listening to the Rams podcast where the focus was about the atmosphere at Pride Park. It was suggested the atmosphere was flat due to unrealistic expectation and fan arrogance in league one. Personally I think the atmosphere has been awful for years. I remember when I first started watching derby I vividly remember a far better match day experience (03/04) with a drummer in the north stand for corners and free kicks. Plus Steve Bloomer’s watching is far too fast and large chunks are skipped out so fans are all over the place when it’s played, that awful spoken word poem doesn’t create much atmosphere and the “in our DNA youth” is just a bit embarrassing.
 
what’s everyone’s thoughts about the atmosphere and how could it be improved?

I’d like to be in a better position to compete then the horrendous attempt by Luton I can see a 0-1 point season coming 

I think Warne is very good at bulls*****g his way through stuff as tactically he comes across as mediocre  

I think we are a top ten team not a top six team the current results do not make good reading as it highlights extreme inconsistency 3 wins 3 losses. We need to be stronger , grittier and show the bottle. Our current form is a 12-13th place team if it continues.
