Just listened. What a positive intelligent interview so supportive of the team and Wayne and understanding of what our football club means to us and our city. Here’s hoping that there still here next year building for the future.

Bit of an unsung hero really, isn't he? Rooney garners most of the plaudits and I suppose that's fair enough but credit where it's due, Liam has been a critical part of this season's improvements and has been equally staunch too. Having initially been far from enamoured with the guy, I now feel very grateful that we have him. They make a good team.

I always enjoy listening to Liam Rosenior.
Sounds like him and Rooney want to be here for the long term, we just need to get some new owners in to give them the stability and backing they deserve.

Sufferingfool reacted to Crewton in Luke Plange - signed for Palace & loaned back
Around £1m is being widely reported. Whatever it is, it was enough to convince Quantuma and Rooney that it was a deal that worked for the club at this critical time.
When was this auction due to take place, for a player who is out of contract in the summer?
Some folk need to remember Rooney's words from a couple of months ago when the EFL restrictions meant we couldn't use him in the first team : "I wouldn't blame his parents if they wanted to take him out of here". Now we've got a million quid and the use of him for the rest of the season.
I'm truly baffled by the detachment from reality of some of the comments about this transfer.

Given that none of us had even heard of Luke Plange this time last year there's some over-reaction on here!
We gave him a chance to rebuild his career when Arsenal threw him on the scrap heap and he's grabbed it with both hands.
He's cost us very little, just a small wage and a few months' coaching. Not like he's been with our academy since forever.
I hope he tears up this league for the rest of the season and he goes on to be a big player for Palace.
Good move for both clubs at this time.

Wouldn't look too deep into what Steve Parish is saying. I expect when they made the offer it included exploring the option of loaning back, because the administrators haven't been listening to any bids otherwise.
Is it that hard to believe that he is just saying that he's pleased the deal benefits both clubs and that he wishes us the best? Of course it benefits Palace, that's not in doubt. He didn't have to say anything at all.
It was a nice gesture. That's all it was. Doesn't mean he's trying to pretend he's doing us a favour, it was just a nice touch.

Of course he's signing Plange because it benefits his football club - but he's at least being helpful to us, and gracious with it - no ducker else is. He didn't have to lend him back to us for the season. You're out of touch with reality I'm afraid.
This is what one of our relegation rivals thinks of this deal :

Chairman Steve Parish added: “Luke is an exceptionally talented young footballer and one we hope will bring a range of attributes to the club in the years to come.
“But first, he has an important role to fulfil playing at Derby, and we appreciate his significance to them in their current circumstances. It is less than 12 years ago that our club was in a similar situation - as a result we were determined to ensure both clubs benefit through this deal. Therefore Luke will return on loan for the remainder of the season and help Derby with their important battles on and off the pitch.
“I look forward to seeing Luke compete in Palace colours soon, and until then enjoy the performances he continues to give for Derby.”
    Fair play Palace.

Just been visiting a friend at the Derby Royal Hospital, I went past a private ward and heard a Nurse say "All will be well Christian" I stopped and looked in ? Wow, I said to the Nurse is that the footballer who scored the 2nd Derby goal yesterday.
A simple nod of her head confirmed it.

Feeling rather overwhelmed today as I am sure we all are..
Yesterday wasn't about the last minute equaliser, as much as it should have been, it was about the City coming together.
A huge thank you to Ryan (chief organiser) and all the Marshalls that assisted on the day. A big thank you as well to Albatross Taxis who offered everyone 20% off for the march and also supplied me with a minibus for the day to get the flags from Pride Park to the march. Nice to see local businesses come together (they are owed money by the club as well) So many came together to make it a success.
We will never know the true number but when we arrived into town at 0945 I got a huge sense that this was going to be massive, just so many dotted about. As many have said Derby police saying just under 10k, that is nothing short of amazing. The view as I looked back over the railway bridge was something else and the drone that took the video, it was neverending.
Many highlights for me, the mayor lowering his hat to start the bounce and leading the march up the Morledge. Pauline Latham starting the bounce and all the local councillors and MP's marching, together.
When the march arrived at Pride Park the number of photographers was something else, not fans, proper photographers, it was flash flash flash..
I will never forget this for the rest of my life.
Be proud of our city and football club.

From the top of the flyover there looked to be more than at Trumps inauguration which apparently was a record attendance so I am going for a conservative estimate of 150,000?

Top comments today. He even stuck in a bit about how big the club was and it could be a massive club.
I think he’s got a soft spot for us.
