Sufferingfool got a reaction from Miggins in Season Tickets 2022-23
Not had a ST since days of Nigel just attended on a match by match basis when possible, but following last year the family myself/sons and grand children have just got 7. Seems rediculous given we have dropped to the 3rd tier but last season was so good, and I have faith in LR, the players, and fans that this season will continue the feel good factor at DCFC. We have our club back COYR.

Another fine interview all these players want to be here want to play for the team and the club???

Sufferingfool reacted to BucksRam in Curtis Davies - signed 1-year deal
Just listened to his interview. What a guy. He not only speaks like a captain, he speaks like a manager. Mentioning he'd met Clowes, then referencing looking forward to years to come, he's got to have some coaching role sorted as part of his contract, which is probably why it took so long to sort out. So glad he's here.

Sufferingfool reacted to jono in Curtis Davies - signed 1-year deal
There are stars and legends, every club has them at every level of the game. Curtis is one of ours. In this modern era of money, contracts, agents and media hype it is hard to be an individual rather than a commodity. Curtis for me has gone to another level. Lasts seasons marathon efforts with everything against us he stood tall and strong in the darkest of days. Quite possibly in 50 years of watching football I don’t think I have ever seen a player with such integrity and sportsmanship. I almost don’t care if he plays again, just being there as a talisman for what is right about sport is enough - sure he wouldn’t agree because he wants that shirt on, whoever or wherever we are playing because doing it right with everything he has is what he does.
Nice one CED

Davies : "It's my club, I can't see myself wearing another shirt to be honest"
Top man, Top Pro, Top Player. I can't state how much I admire this guy. Curtis Davies, you make me proud to be a Ram, you are credit to the club and to the game. Thanks Curtis. Great news, great signing.

Sufferingfool reacted to LERam in Player Registration Embargo Continues
The restrictions will be good for us, we can't overpay, clubs know we can't overpay. We have start actually scouting players and not bang in silly bids for players who have had half a decent season.
I'd be happy with a couple of seasons of just building a team from scratch, sensible buys, making a profit year on year.

The best way we can immediately thank David Clowes is by selling out Pride Park on 30th July against Oxford. Come on you Rams!!!!!!!!!

Sufferingfool reacted to Woodypecker in Message to rooney
Rooney's had some weeks off, with his boys and wife, winding down from it all. The distance brought his perspective and he wants new horizons.
It has been pretty relentless, the pressure and spotlight on 'Wayne Rooney's Derby County' - he did an amazing job galvanising the players he had, or was allowed to keep, and the performances swept the faithful along amid an undeniably Herculean effort.
Remember, Wayne was often scathing about referees, and said more than once: 'They want us relegated', and I happen to believe him."They" were also obviously the parasites and the EFL, working for months mainly to appease just about every other selfish Chairman and belittle or impede Derby.
I'll be happy if those people find themselves in similarly parlous financial straits - there are some prominent candidates.
Add on top of that for Wayne, the diabolical and destructive silence from Q - and the club likely to still be in administration without enough players to field a team, who can blame him for deciding enough is enough?
Yes, there's an element of selfishness in him not wanting another patchwork team to be struggling on, another division down, on his CV - but we've also had the media circus and snigger-mentality abruptly halted and now we can operate under the radar to a greater extent.
It will be interesting to see who takes Wayne on, and how he fares - but I'm far more interested in the future of Derby County, and Wayne is gone.
Cheerio, and thanks for all the fish.

Sufferingfool reacted to roboto in Malcolm Ebiowei yeah? Gone to C Palace.
Anyone that has been in or around the an academy system can tell you how much effort goes into trying to secure a first team contract.
The lad has been through Arsenal's youth system, got cut and tried to get his career back on track at Rangers and then with us. He's taking his opportunities in a cut throat business. Good luck to him and his career, I'm thankful that he played his part on the pitch and was a bright spark in a dark period for the club.

Love that Wet Leg video. It reminded me a bit of this one from Stealing Sheep, worth watching if you haven’t seen it.

The latest HMHB offering is just immense, they really do get better and better as they go on. Not sure if this is, or isn't, my favourite track but have a listen for a BBG moment reference

Sufferingfool reacted to Foreveram in Who is looking forward to league one
Definitely more travelling this season, around 5,400 miles round trips for me plus whoever comes up from league two. Then Possibly FA cup, league cup and PJ trophy .
I managed to do every game home and away last season,
home games including championship cup games and friendlies 1,040 miles
away games including championship cup games and friendlies 5,268
total miles 6,308.
I enjoyed last season especially the away games although it was hard at times , the camaraderie from our fans kept my spirits up, best summed up by Vinnie as big Chris, it’s been emotional.
