I'm a Sky Blue... Born Chaddy and moved to North of Coventry at the age of 2. Not sure I'm allowed a second team but have always looked out for your results and been a bit narked that DCFC never seem to make the big time despite the fantastic fan base.   My first game was a 0-0 in 1974 FA Cup tie at Highfield Rd.   Went today.  I agree with this comment and as the second half went on it looked like County would draw level.  A brief moment of entertainment in the stands was the side show before the goal.  Derby looked big in defence and fair play for commanding the best part of the second half.  City had a penalty call but it was waived away.  Hit the bar and had a goal disallowed.  But Derby were worth their draw.  Hope off the pitch problems get sorted out so that you stay up. 

Until HIS! next mistake, I'm just be as comfortable with Roos as Allsop in goal, Now here's the rub, Allsop knows he's made an error, If WR drops him for that then i'm sure his confidence will take a little knock, Then the pressure will be on Roos knowing if he makes a mistake will he be dropped, I'm sticking with Allsop for the time being...that is until he makes...well you know ?

Agree he uses the ball sensibly if not always in the most direct fashion. 
Sometimes the fan baying for the pass can't see the blocking opponent Ravel can see. 
He still isn't quite fit enough and he still sulks a bit but if he wasn't doing those two things he wouldn't be with us. He still retains a touch of class. 

Why didn't Ebosele start tonight ???
Why didn't we try Tom up front when it wasn't working for Sibs @ Preston

I really do not think those rumours linking him with Newcastle are true.
Now that they are rich beyond their wildest dreams, I would expect them to want a big name (management wise), a proven manager to take them to where they feel entitled to belong.

I thought Morrison was good too. It was as if he can't play the killer ball he is clearly capable of because there's no one to play it too.
I wondered if Festy Ebosele could be utilised in a different role? As a couple of runs showed, he has the ability and confidence to go past players. That's a rare quality worth nurturing in someone so young. 

Why change a GK that's had 3 clean sheets in a row?

Actually, forgive me, scrap that, Sibley was given a nigh on impossible task. Thinking back, there was a couple of times when the Preston defender marking him appeared to manhandle him as well. 
I'm thinking back to the game and just trying to fathom out the reason why we didn't score. We had so much quality on the ball, especially the first twenty minutes. Absolute class. Preston was there for the taking. It should have been three points. 

Allsop…………..7 Made 2 important saves. A tad relaxed on a couple of play outs that nearly went wrong.
Ebosele……….8. Has to play next game. 2 mazey runs which were stunning & should’ve led to goals. Also won a penalty which wasn’t given. 
Buchanan…….7. Stylish and solid. Good cross deliveries which went close.
Jagielka……….8. The guy is a 12ft high granite wall, with barbed wire on top.
Davies………….8 The guy is a 12ft high iron gate. Padlocked. Headed against the bar 2nd half. 
Bird…………….7. Patrolled and kept the ball moving with neat & intricate, knitted passes out of defence. Like Pirlo with a Burton accent me duck.
Shinnie……..9. Like a piranha fish. Legally took chunks out of Preston with his bar steward-like tackles and got forward with energy. 
Knight………..7. Perpetual machinery. 
Morrison…….6. Threaded & weaved. 3 testing shots, which flashed wide or were saved.
Lawrence……7. Worked hard. 1 good shot. Needs to do a bit more to inspire.
Baldock………5 Went off with a nose bleed, forgot his PE kit or had a note off his ma to say he’d got a headache. 

Allsop - 7.5 good saves, good hands, bit scary with the ball at his feet
Ebosele - 7.5 love watching him play, that run at the end of the first half....
Buchanan - 7 solid down the left 
Jagielka - 8.5 Him and Curt....
Davies - 8.5 Him and Jags...
Bird - 6.5 nice and steady 
Shinnie - 8 got round the pitch with ferocious ferocity
Knight - 6 lots of energy, could do with a goal
Morrison - 7.5 his importance to us is huge, drifting round the pitch picking it up and moving it on. He's the reason we're so much better in possession this season.
Lawrence 6  - Good enough, need a bit more. Like a goal or two. Or three.
Baldock 5 - Injured
Sibley 4 - Lost

I don't even think we are overly defensive..maybe late in games we often fall deeper but generally we play nice attacking football until that final bit of guile in and around the opponents danger areas.
Yesterday I was amazed how often we had decent numbers forward but not one of them were dragging a defender out of position..it was bizarre to watch like some kind of mad synchronised routine..
If Richards gets back to full fitness we can't have him isolated up top like he was for most of last season once the goals dried up..we still need our midfield taking advantage of the space..being brave is key.

Yay, I’m going to this!! After a brain haemorrhage and then lockdown I thought I’d never get to PP again. However, I’ve recovered really well over the summer, especially worked hard to improve physically and my partner is letting my son take me to the match - he’s much more worried than I am!
So, Rams, I’d appreciate a good performance and a win - though whatever happens I’ll feel like a winner just getting there.

Sibley struggled against the big central defender. A bit of a tall order really for him. Lawrence should have been the centre forward, maybe he lacks the aerial ability but he has the right instinct. Such a shame we didn't capitalise on the first half possession. We looked a cut above. Great day out though, especially for £5 entrance. I actually expected a bigger crowd. 

Kamil Jozwiak has an appearance/starter fee doesn’t he? It has to be the only reason he hasn’t played recently.
Tom Lawrence offers nothing outside. He’s an instinctive shooter. He should 100% play through the middle upfront.
You want your wide players to be able to create, retain possession, pick intelligent passes. Lawrence rarely does any of these things. He’s wasted out there on the left.
Impressed with Buchanan. Looks to have really stepped up his aggression and urgency. Bird and Knight also decent.
Derby far the better team, but we don’t look like scoring. I don’t want to say it, but we’ll probably lose this 1-0 to an error or something and we’re left saying the same things after the match.

I hope I am proved wrong but I think they will be well and truly up for it. Sadly, we ain't scoring many goals either. 

Been searching the pubs in Preston no sign of any of our players but I’ll keep looking, somebody’s got to do it
