My bet is this is all about face saving negotiations for the EFL.. The voices against us have to get some change for their efforts. The voices with us will be saying accept something just to close it.
3 points I am guessing .. not because we did anything wrong but because they have to give us something to justify their existence,
push it too far and their own integrity and motives will be questioned by those outside DCFC.
It stinks. Partisan, rules made up as they go along. Expressing disappointment when the can’t appeal a decision made by their own independent committee ? Thats not a governing body.
I am appalled

Sounds like classic bullying.
We won't have done anything that justifies anywhere close to a 12 point deduction, we don't believe that we've even done anything to justify 3, but they'll use 'aggravating factors' and their position to trump up the potential punishment, like your stereotypical bully might start adding extra threats if their victim questions why they've been targeted, answers back and doesn't immediately hand over their pocket money.
Give us your mobile phone. What do you mean no? Give us your mobile phone or else we'll steal your shoes, put them on our own feet and kick you in the goolies, take them off, beat you around the head with them and then string them up on the nearest telephone line.
...or I suppose we could let you off with whatever money you've got in your wallet and your lunch, but we'll be back tomorrow and we'll do this all over again. What's it gonna be?

@Carneroprobably said this twenty minutes ago but…
Estoppel got thrown out at the Sheff Wednesday hearing (the EFL wrongly advised / endorsed their actions).
I’m fairly sure that Wednesday didn’t have St Nick de Marco at that hearing. As he’s on a retainer with us, if I were Mel I’d be doubling down.
The embargo doesn’t scare me. Sibley’s gonna keep us up on his own.

I dunno. I was seriously critical of Rooney end of last season and I've still not really forgiven his behaviour under Cocu, but he's what we've got for the foreseeable and I'll support him and the team on that basis.
As for the here and now, anyone who feels there's been no progress has clearly not been watching games this season. Will it last? Who knows, but getting behind the team while we find out cant hurt, can it?

Thanks for those who flew the flag tonight. Felt really strange not being at the game and not able to listen on radio either.
Looking forward to Saturday.

Takes me back to us winning the league first time under Clough. It was only because of the result at Wolves and Arsenal that Derby were champions. Absolutely nothing to do with the other 41 games that Leeds and Liverpool had played.

I think, considering that many fans were predicting we'd set a new lowest points record for the Championship, and not a single media pundit or rival fan gave us a dog's chance of avoiding last place, our first four games have come as a pleasant surprise - like a trip to the dentist that turned out to be a pleasant experience rather than torture. On that basis, there's nothing wrong with taking the positives from that. Of course, it's early days, and we have perhaps more challenging games ahead, but (if we can avoid injuries to key players), I've seen enough to encourage me that we could have a better season than I'd feared was likely. The positives for me are Roos looking steady, a well organised defence with Jagielka at the heart of it, a more positive Max Bird looking to find forward runners, Ravel showing the touch of class we've lacked, and better movement from the forwards. Add to that the little cameos from promising U23s, it's given me a much needed boost after a pretty awful 18 months for obvious reasons.

We are creating good chances from open play. We are opening up defensive, experienced teams and getting one on one chances which at the moment, are going wide, hitting the post or keepers are making great saves, it will come.
If Rooney keeps the confidence level up the goals will come. Once they do, teams have a problem against us because we are capable of breaking quickly.
Morrison is huge in this division, clearly different class, obviously there is no way of knowing if he has finally matured or not but our younger lads seem more confident with him pulling the strings.
There is a lot to be optimistic about as it stands. Your opinion is just as valid as mine or anyone else mate, maybe its just your posting style, but it comes across as if you don't like the optimism and hope we have based on what we've seen so far.
