My understanding is: the business plan is also intended to ensure clubs don’t benefit from going into admin by wiping off a load of debt, then spending a shed load on players. Seems fair enough
The Wigan point is as devious as it is compelling. You’d have to compare every aspect of the two clubs’ trauma to assess whether one or the other got a worse deal from the EFL. Many from other clubs look at our squad and think we got off lightly. All I’d say is : we have a fighting chance of promotion and if that’s where we stand after the $hit storm, we have little to complain about

Definitely a Warne type player. He can play as a solo DM to allow whoever in front to be all energy with little worries about defending in midfield as Bielik is good enough to play on his own. Barlaser played a similar type that allowed two in front to press more. Bielik's progression is brilliant so yeah, I think he's definitely a Warne type.

It was confirmed in the charter meeting that we are continuing to pay Arsenal in instalments. Not sure how much is left to pay though

My recollection was the firm (the family) owns the stadium and the club is owned by DC. Slightly less optimal than the MM structure on paper but I’d rather be owned by DC than MM. Would be a pleasant surprise to hear that the club owns the stadium.

Will never forget Waghorn on the touch line at the end of that last game of the season   But not sure a return makes sense.

Warne must be playing his cards very close to his chest regarding potential transfer targets. Normally there are a number of names being bandied about, due to leaks from those in the know, agents etc.
    This time there is nothing.

Watched Max against Barnsley in the cup , and I do think he is trying to get around the pitch more . But his 2 shots went into the away corner, and it’s clear where Warne has to work with him.

Depends if you have a player who is so weak and useless defensively to the point that they cause the defending team more problems we have had them in the past

Was surprised LR was dropped so soon but having seen the professionalism of this management team think it was a good, decisive call. ‘Warneball’ has more to it than some feared and the culture he has brought  is a breath of fresh air. Assuming we go up some time soon, will be very interesting to see how he recruits for a championship campaign.

An honest footballer if ever there was one. Not the prettiest - which may be why he’s often underrated - but highly adaptable and so dependable at the back. Comparisons with Cashin are pointless - it’s like comparing tarte tartin with fine steak

First 5 minutes after half time is always a struggle for me. Convinced the opposition have cut us wide open and are bearing down on goal, and then remembering with relief that they’re playing a flat back four we’ve swapped ends at half time.

When Rooney signed, some of his touches, vision and passing were the best I've seen from a Derby player in donkey's years.
DM has the same level of skill but with vastly superior general mobility and proper, decent pace over the first 5 yards.
He also has a magical ability to get his body in the right place to deny opponents a sniff of getting the ball, thus drawing fouls........seemingly invisible to the Accrington ref.
For me, best signing in ages........amongst a lot of decent LR signings.
