ziggyram59 got a reaction from Anag Ram in Watchable telly
Yesterday watched the real life drama story of Raoul Moat on ITV and then watched the real life documentary the manhunt for him, the tv drama was frightening/tense because you knew he was going to kill that man and you was just waiting for that to come. I thought the documentary was excellent showing footage of the manhunt and talking to the police who were involved.

Dialogue on TV and in cinema that you could actually understand and not interspersed with F*** every other word.

If anyone can build a car to stop Redbull, it's Allison. I don't think it's a coincidence that Mercedes got worse when he was no longer in control of the car. Hugely promising, probably too far gone this year (maybe he can help oversee some upgrades) but it's good news going forwards.

The glory days of the 70's watching the Rams under Clough & Taylor and then Mackay.
3 channels on TV which showed good entertainment not like today where they have multiple channels but 90% is garbage.
Star Soccer on Sunday afternoon with Hugh Johns loved it.

Yes that's what I fear it was always going to be a hard match but they have hit some form lately. We can't afford to drop points at this stage of the season.

Things I miss from my younger days -
Eating biscuits without worrying about immediate weight gain
Talking to real people in places such as banks rather than having to call a 'help line'

I struggle to get behind a team going for a Treble having been up on over 100 breaches of FFP for 2 years and continuing to spend with no comeback . We were docked 9 points, however, for sod all on retrospective rule changes.

ziggyram59 got a reaction from WTF in Manchester City Champions League
As a English team do you want Manchester City to finally win the Champions League? I am definitely supporting them I believe they are the best team in Europe at present and would be deserved champions. But I can understand a lot of fans of other clubs are jealous of Man City's success and don't want them to win the Champions League.

I think there's a bit of recency bias here. Were Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal not inflating transfer fees when they broke the British transfer record in the 90's? The stockpiling of youngsters is a big problem, but don't forget it was the entire Premier League who enabled this by pushing for rule changes that stripped protections like tribunal fees for youth players from smaller clubs.

Glad it's happened to someone else, well out of his depth, another one of Mel Morris mistakes.

The culmination of all those things is what begins to sway opinion, I reckon. He makes a baffling decision not to start our best striker in the biggest game of the season, we miss out on promotion, he's then openly touted as being the next Chelsea manager during which the media circus ensures we cannot properly prepare for pre-season, the clip comes out which adds fuel to the flames, and then he finally sods off - while Frank may not be single-handedly responsible for every element of how it went down, the whole thing was just irritating and that does reflect personally on him, rightly or wrongly.
I think Rowett having walked the season before played a part too, that feeling of betrayal probably still fresh in minds. It was just an annoyingly dragged-out departure, basically.

I think the last 4 games lose to Exeter tonight, draw against Burton and Portsmouth at home and defeat against Sheffield Wednesday last game of the season which will leaves us 7th which on current form is where we deserve to finish.
