I heard the forum name has to stay that way as part of his contract with 32 Red. Rooney opted out of performance based incentives and instead opted to have a forum page named after him. 

In the thread 'Rooney In', @Highgate argued one of the reasons we should dispense with Rooney's services is:
"Sacking him will mean we won't have to look at the 'Wayne Rooney's DCFC fans' anymore."
To the mods.... Help us reclaim our club. Even if we must have a celebrity in the managerial hot seat, and it seems we must, then at least let this forum lead the way in showing the world that the club is bigger than any individual.

I don’t get that reaction from those that are embarrassed. What do they expect the players to do, drop the mike and walk off all stoic and cool? How entitled and would that make us appear?
actually showing a bit of emotion, and celebrating shows me that they do care really. I’m sure they know they should never be have been in that position in the first place, but nevertheless that is the position they’re in. And gaining safety is therefore and incredibly emotional, relieving experience to be shared with fans. 
rubbing it Rotherham or Wycombe face would be tinpot. But celebrating with our own fans is expected. It would be tin pot not to.

Always good to read a neutral perspective, thanks. At least some recognition that the extensive problems of both clubs are not entirely of our own making. 
I like the description of Waghorn as "a force of pure scrawny will". I have always thought of him as a bit of a unit, myself! Must be because many of the rest of our players are even scrawnier!
And to describe football as a pyramid scheme is spot on. The game can't keep using the money of the many at the bottom to fund the largesse of those few teams at the top.
However painful our current situation, we are just a symptom of a much more terminal malaise in the game.

It was an outpouring of relief by both players and fans alike. Did you see all the fans outside the ground? You embarrassed by them as well? 

With the past 12 months and no fans allowed in the ground maybe it was an opportunity for the players to give the fans a thank you and a bit of reconnection.
People moan when there’s no communication/interaction from the club and people moan when there is....sometimes you just can’t win 

I felt that today’s game missed someone from the east stand kicking Calum Paterson. Not real football anymore. 

Try telling that to the thousands who invaded the pitch v Fulham in 1983......enjoy the emotion of the day and worry about the future tomorrow ??????

We're celebrating being 4th from bottom. I'll be called grumpy, I don't care. It's not worth celebrating, they should be embarrassed that it came down to it today. Nothing to celebrate.

I’ve been trying to make sense of this season and I can’t. I only end up getting annoyed by just about everything surrounding the club.
I just like to watch Derby so I’ll be renewing next season and I’ll go and take my seat in the SW Upper.
